Chinese Air Force pilot chases 'mushroom-shaped' UFO

The [Chinese] air force had a prolonged up-close encounter with a UFO last month that one fighter pilot described as "just like ones in foreign movies," a government-controlled newspaper reported Thursday. Donna noticed a very bright white light just above the horizon, and an estimated 2km away. During their close observation, the light did some unusual maneuvers and some unexplainable things were observed. There was a 'wedge shaped' beam of light emanating from the object. From the witness: "I observed an aircraft, approx. 150-200ft above ground level and approx 300-500ft slant range from my location. It was rolling out of a right bank and the streetlights were illuminating it enough so that I could see a distinct silhouette of the fuselage and the underbelly. This object appeared to be the same color as the night sky, flat black or dark gray. There were no lights, no exhaust flames and no engine noise... just absolute silence!" View full report

Large triangular-shaped object with lights observed in Paris, France

On September 7, 1997 at 01 hours 43, a witness observes from his balcony a triangular form with two blue lights and a green one which moves slowly on a rectilinear trajectory. The observation lasts 12 seconds. No noise was perceived but the witness felt vibrations in the body, and when he wanted to take a photograph, its apparatus was blocked. The dimension of the object was estimated by the witness at approximately 700 meters. The investigation did not make it possible to give an explanation to this phenomenon. View full report

When it flew by her deck, she estimated it to be travelling slightly slower than a thrown frisbee. She continued to watch the object for about 20 minutes just hovering back and forth." The object was then at its closest point to us. It had a large bright light at either end, with 4 Possibly 5 smaller lights in between. At either end, behind the large lights there were very small red and blue lights that were not easily visible. These smaller lights looked like portholes. Pilot encounters giant pyramid-shaped UFO over Pelotas, Brazil

Brazilian pilot Haroldo Westendorf, 39, was flying over Pelotas when he encountered an enormous pyramid or cone shaped UFO, with 8-10 sides; it was 100 meters in diameter and 70 meters high. Westendorf was able to fly around the base of the object three times, at one point coming as close as 40 meters. Then, out of an opening at the top of the craft, a smaller classic disc-shaped UFO emerged and flew off at tremendous speed. On September 16, 1996 in the 5 hour old neighbourhoods, the witness in his car observes an ovoid [oval-shaped] machine [object] with three port-holes emitting a strong orange light. The object is stationary at an altitude of 30 to 40 meters and between 300 and 400 meters from the road. The somewhat frightened witness continues on the road and subsequently observes two identical objects higher in the sky. The objects observed were dark and their size estimated at ten meters length. On September 12, 1996 around 8 p.m., a mother and her daughter in their car observe an object made up of an ovoid [oval-shaped] skirt [?] and a surmounted cylinder on a dome with three lights (port-holes?) sharp red. On the cylinder, a fluorescent green light turned like a gyrophare [?]. The object, silent, was suspended 4 meters off the ground and approximately ten meters from the road.
