Dome-shaped object with lights in Pont de Salars, France

On September 12, 1996 around 8 p.m., a mother and her daughter in their car observe an object made up of an ovoid [oval-shaped] skirt [?] and a surmounted cylinder on a dome with three lights (port-holes?) sharp red. On the cylinder, a fluorescent green light turned like a gyrophare [?]. The object, silent, was suspended 4 meters off the ground and approximately ten meters from the road. Its size is estimated as two cars [size] approximately. The object disappeared at the end of a few minutes. The phenomenon observed was not explained. View full report

Large disc-shaped object observed by two witnesses in Connecticut

The witnesses (husband and wife) were driving back from fishing at a quarry in Harwinton when they observed a large metallic disk about 500 feet in diameter at an altitude of about 200 feet, from a distance of about a half mile, during daytime. The object was traveling 65-70 mph, and it passed smoothly over the road on a course approximately perpendicular to the road. View full report

UFO lands to repair hole in its hull (Transvaal, South Africa)

When a local farmer from Groot Marico in the western Transvaal plains region first observed the saucer-shaped object on Thursday morning, he noticed that it had a distinctly visible hole in its hull. The farmer, Mr. Jan Pienaar (45), is of the opinion that this "vehicle" landed on a remote country road between Coligny and Brakspruit to have its damaged hull repaired. The car leaves the city quickly but a little further finds the phenomenon in front of the vehicle: a triangle with the same type of light on the circumference came to be added to the circle. The triangle is equilateral 10 side meters approximately and altitude from 10 to 15 meters. The phenomenon accompanied the vehicle which ran to approximately 80 km/h while adapting at the speed and that on several km. During a change of direction the object accelerated and moved away. The witness 'spotted a big luminous object approximately 100 meters away, hovering at an altitude of about 30 meters just above the building. It looked to her like two frisbees stuck together, turning in opposite directions. The bottom part had small, dark squares that looked like windows under which a circle of white lights rotated in a clockwise direction. The object appeared to be about 10 meters in diameter.' From the witness: "I grabbed the binoculars and looked at it. This time I could see a distinct shape. It was like an ice-cream cone pointing upward. The flat part of the cone was facing the earth. On the back of the cone was what looked like a small hull or house or hut of some kind. It was about a fifth of the size of the cone itself. Out of this hut came a very faint blue light. Mrs. Irene Lunn, the wife of a policeman, and her daughter Erica were driving home when they saw a large object directly over the pond at the Circle A Farm. Fishing crews observe large conical object hovering over water

The fishing boat Moguer 5 left port at Ayamonte (Huelva) Spain and proceeded out to sea. Six other boats comprised the rest of a small fishing fleet. The Moguer 5 was 400 meters from the shore when a conical-shaped object was seen 100 meters farther out to sea, hovering over the water's surface. The witnesses watched the cone for 20 minutes while it rotated just above the sea's surface for 20 minutes at which time it rose vertically and disappeared into the sky. View full report
