In the north of Montreal at St Michel surrounding. No military base nearby but airport at some kilometers away.

My friend came to collect an old pair of loudspeakers by 22hrs30. We had a brief conversation and then I went upstairs to smoke a cigarette on the front balcony before going to bed. After a couple of puffs I noticed three bright stars moving slowly in a triangular isoceles shape at a very high altitude. I did not notice any shade or dark spot in between them may be because of the high altitude but suddenly the first bright star at the head started fading away until it disappeared and afterwards the second on the left side. Just then I called my wife before the the third vanished. Shortly then the third bright star vanished and I moved at the back of the house for may be it would light up again but alas there was no more sightings.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?
