Appearance / Description of Object(s)
Object was round, and appeared to be small; maybe 2-4 ft. in diameter? Maybe 2 ft. in depth. The object itself may have been metallic; the most interesting features were its small size; and the bright lights in the windows that rotated, as the object itself rotated and hovered.
Size of Object(s)
Possibly 2-4 ft. in diameter; 2ft. in depth. Windows encircled center of object; and were well lit by colorful bright lights.
Description of Area / Surroundings
Rural area of forests; no houses, no structures; just trees. Whiting Field is about 25 mi. South.
Full Description & Details
Clear night, no fog, no rain. Excellent visibility. Traveling from Milton, Fl. to Jay, Fl.(home); about 9:00PM. The object was seen at the top of tree line, just beyond the power line right of way; and appeared to be slowly spinning, in addition to the fact the lights or frames around them were rotating in a counter-clock wise fashion. Trees were mature pines that were about 30 ft. tall or so. Object clearly appeared long enough for me to observe that it seemed to be a small, round shape with colorful, well lit, rectangular "windows".It made no sound, and did not appear to have any connecting wires or devices. Seemed to operate as some type mechanical device. Nothing observed inside the windows except the fact each window was a different color- and very brightly lit as orange, pink, purple, green, blue, yellow, or red. As I watched the rotation of the windows; I was thinking it acted like a spinning top; when one presses the top to keep it moving. It seemed to mimic that motion of sort of stalling & starting (the rotation of lights, I mean). I traveled slowly on as long as I could see it; eventually, it disappeared beyond the trees. There are no houses in that area, and no other cars were around to see it. No other vehicles were seen or heard in the area, nor any type aircraft. My first thought was, "What a wonderful toy!" However, that seems a little ludicrous considering where I saw it and I did not observe any sign of people in the area. Later, when I responded to a joking remark about UFO's to my Art History teacher; another student stated she saw it too. In a town about 45 miles from where I saw it, Atmore, Al. She knew exactly when it had appeared and did not think it was funny. She seemed upset by the sight of it.
Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?
I have no idea what this was. Definitely not an airplane, weather balloon, helicopter, or star or the moon.

Views on UFOs, before and after sighting
I do not really believe in "aliens" in the traditional sense. Maybe some type spiritual beings? I have read several books, watch TV shows, etc. Find it interesting. I am a Bible believing Christian; who references everything back to God and His Word.
