Appearance / Description of Object(s)

Round in shape ,20 meters across,metalic in appearance .There were some features but could only see some vertical lines on the object . I could only see these features on the bottom half as it was lit . It was quite bright .

With my hand out streatched the object was about as thick as my thumb.The object would have been 500 meters away as well as 100-200 meters of the ground

Full Description & Details

Sitting in the back room of a friends house watching some TV when i seen somthing out the corner of my eye . At first glance i thought it was a star . But after looking at it i realised it was close and quite big . I yelled out look at that and ran outside to get a better look . All of my friends followed me but only one actually saw it . It was the shape of a large ball ,metalic in appearance and lit from the bottom (like a hot air ballon would be at night .) The object was hovering silently . I had a look the next day and it would have been hovering over the Bundamba public pool at Ipswich . I was only able to look at it for about 5 seconds before the object took off to the left ( heading south towards the New South Wales border) The object moved that fast a straight beam of light was left in it's wake . There was no sound or sonic boom . This object would have traveled over 50 km in 1 second . There should have been some sound ,but there was none.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

No definitly not
