Appearance / Description of Object(s)

It was shaped just like a cigarette, long/thin in width , the color was white and in the mid section looked shiny, like Chrome. I did not see any windows or doors

I would say approximately 4 bus lengths..it was not real wide from the direction I saw it but it was long. Measuring from the roof of a bus down to the tire was about the width..

Distance to Object(s) & Altitude

approximately 2000 -3000 feet in the air

Description of Area / Surroundings

The area is in between Galveston and Houston..Ellington Field and NASA are nearby..the weather was warm and sunny with scattered clouds..there was no breeze..

I was on the way to take my daughter to school. Which is only a couple of blocks from where I was. I was at the light taking a left off of Newport Blvd ,Newport subdivision and FM 518 in League City Texas..when I looked up I saw a strange looking object flying slowly across the sky. I kept staring at it in disbelief to what I was seeing..I knew that it was not an airplane because it had no wings..The light turned green so I had to proceed to go because there were other cars behind me..I tried to look at it as I was turning left and from what I saw in the middle of it had a shiny aluminum reflection. When I arrived at the school to drop my daughter off..I got out and looked in the sky to see if I could see it again..It had disappeared. I even drove home in a different direction hoping I would spot it again..There was no sign of it..

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

it was a man made object..but nothing I have ever seen because there were no propellers or wings..

I have an open mind about it..I believe that there are other intelligent life beings other than humans..or possibly another human race..I think there could be another planet like Earth. The Universe is so grand I don't think we are alone.
