ok heres the hard part to explain the light i saw did not illuminate the craft it was attached to the craft seemed to blend in with the night sky where the light was white it illuminated maybe 20 feet of the craft to the right of the light it looked grey or white and was curved with some black lines and some kind of marking my eyes really had to strain to look at that part

just the glowing orb part was the size of a hummer or a bungalow it was close real close i could not take my eyes off it

urban 2 buildings facing each other with town houses in between i started to see it over downtown toronto flew right over i was having a smoke on the balcony when i looked to my right i can see the cn tower and this red light turn right and head my way i thought it was a plane but as it came my way and i could get a better look the light changed got bigger and i could see a pattern in the light thats when i called my girlfriend cause i knew at that point with out a doubt that i was seeing something special if you where to drive from that part of toronto with no lights no traffic it would take at least 15 20 minutes to cover that ground this thing did it in about 10 to 20 seconds but some how it did not appear to be moving fast the orb light just silently moved past me and off over lake ontario

I live in toronto last night january 1 2013 about 1 am in the morning i was getting some air on the balcony when at first i saw a red light coming from the downtown area of toronto at first i thought it was a plane then the light turned left and headed my way east

Im on the seventh floor as it passed a straight line in front of me i got a real good look at it

it was white in the center as the light moved outward it gradually changed to orange and orange to a red glow there was also a pattern within the light it also had the most awesome glow to it unlike any other light i have ever seen before wow!!!!!!!!!!! i just stopped my jaw droped and i was in awe like i have never been before

The light seemed to move slow and effortlessly and without a sound totally silent but some how the light was covering lots of ground and moving away quickly that part i really dont get how something can appear to be moving slowly but still moving out of your vision quickly

As the light passed in front of me and away turning right now heading over lake ontario on a south east heading towards the united states it still seemed to be going slow but it began a steady climb upward maybe a 45 degree angle upward it begain to dim out on me untill it was just a little twinkle in the sky like a star and then nothing gone from my vision

The whole sighting was about a minute and a half from start to finish

All i can say is that i have always been a believer but im also a skeptic because im a need definitive proof kind of person and as far as im concerned now i have it thanks for listening

PS if you get any other kind of news on the sighting i described from last night could you maybe tell me i have been looking around the internet tv news to see if anyone else saw it last night it would really help me a lot to know im not the only one who saw that last night thanks

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

could not be stars planets planes or helicopters first of all the light moved right by me im on the 7 floor maybe 200 feet away i got a real good look this thing it was like it was doing a fly bye on purpose was not a sighting where you see a dot of light moving in the distance it was so close that as it passed in front of me i could make out a pattern within the light all i can do is draw the pattern for you i remember that for ever

i have never reported anything in my life i have seen distant lights before but thats exactly what they are distant lights who knows what they are

but this thing was so close thats the fun and exciting part for me i know what i saw something that we can not make here on earth my jaw has never dropped before i have never looked at or seen anything like this anywhere myself or the tv or internet the only thing that bothers me is that i have been checking and nobody else has said they seen this that night how can that be it was so big
