i was using my telescope at about 2 in the morning. i was just scanning the sky and saw a little spark like object just hovering in veiw. it just flashed was gone.

it was probably just metallic anfd reflecting the light of my town. it did`nt move and there was no sound coming from it.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

possibly a meteor
