Full Description & Details

me and 2 family members, looking out the window facing north.Suddenly in the sky above us appeared a large round flying object. The object was at least 200 ft. across, and silver colored. It was about 1.000 ft. above the ground, flying slowly. It flew out over the water, then stopped still for about 15 seconds, then flew off to the right, heading to the North Sea. The duration of our sighting was 7 or 8 mins. It was a beautiful evening with a blue, cloudless sky. Next day it was reported in the local papers that other people seen the same object. We still talk about that sight to this day. And those who think it must have been a balloon or something else, are in for a shock in the future. That is my belief.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

There is no way it was anything but a UFO. 2 of us served time in the military. so we know how to observe. Ask anyone who has served in the Military and has done gaurd duty.

Witness Background

Retired from working in the textile fabrication industry. Tentage structures. Grade 12 education. 12 years in Military.

Views on UFOs, before and after sighting

I admit it was hard to believe, but now there is no doubt that these discs are positively are the real thing. And not of this Planet.

Other Comments

There are probably millions of sightings that never get reported, because of fear of being humiliated by those who have never seen any.
