Full Description & Details

Around 9pm on June 23rd I was outside on my balcony photographing the moon. Becoming bored with the same type of pictures over and over I decided to take a shot of the DC skyline, approximately 10 miles away, and then finished for the night.

The following morning I uploaded the pictures to my computer and was surprised to find an unidentified object in the sky in the picture of the DC skyline. When I took the original picture of the skyline the object was not visible. There was a clear sky and no clouds were present.

Due to not seeing the object with the naked eye it's difficult to put a size estimate on it or the distance it was away from the camera.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

I have seen investigations into rods on television and think it possible this could well be an insect flying past during the shot. However, the object in the picture does resemble several other UFO photographs I have seen.

Views on UFOs, before and after sighting

I have always had an interest in UFOs but remain skeptical about most sightings and pictures.
