Full Description & Details
Dark. Just got off the trail. Leaning against truck, starting our first beer. Boyfriend said, 'What is THAT?'. We saw a ball of light and was not sure how big or how far until it dipped behind the trees and we realized it was quite close. It moved erratically then descended into the forest. We talked about it for a while and were just about to explain it away when the second one appeared. It also glided around haphazardly and then descended into the same spot in the forest, which was beyond our view. We talked some more and then decided that maybe it was a plane far away and the wind in the trees was making it appear to move erratically. Then a plane did fly over, very high in the sky and we realized the two balls of light did not seem anything like a plane. Then, as the sound from the plane caught up to us, it suddenly dawn on us that the things we saw made absolutely NO SOUND. Waited a while more and were about to leave when a third one came in from another direction. It floated for a while too. We heard a big Mac? truck go by on the main road (Cascade Lake HWY). While the truck was going by the ball of light halted and was perfectly still and started to blink a tiny light off to the side as if trying to appear like a plane to the truck driver. Once the truck went by it descended into the forest just like the others. We concluded that whatever these things were, they were not aware we were there. We decided to leave as my boyfriend was worried about getting back to help his handicapped dad.
