Moving so fast like a shooting star only for the vapor behind it to be green. When it sopped in mid air above the plane it was a cream glow like a star would be.
Size of Object(s)
Small object, smaller than the plane which it was above and much more faster.
Description of Area / Surroundings
No military bases, power plants etc. We are a small town with not alot around us other than farms and small business's. I saw it in a residential area of town with no street lights on.
Full Description & Details
I live in a small town in Essex, South East of England. I work in a bar until late at night and only just week our council decided to turn off the street lights past midnight. When I was walking home in the pitch black I stopped and noticed a plane. Now because of the no street lights this was brilliant in what I saw. No street pollution. Anyway I noticed this plane and I know it was as I saw it's tail and wing lights flashing. However just behind it I saw something fast approaching, and I mean fast like a comet. It was above the plane and sped past it. I initially thought, comet but it stopped in mid air went back from where it came, stopped again above the plane (at least a hundred feet) for a second and went in it's original direction going so fast it disappeared. However, it left a green vapor behind it. And when I mean green vapor I mean, if you saw a plane in the daylight it leave the white fuel vapor behind, it was like that but only one trail as a plane has two normally. I tried ruling it out. But how many weather balloons or helicopters do you know can outpace a commercial airliner go back the other way and go back again, I'm only here because I do not know what I saw, and to be honest, It scared me.
Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?
Nothing man made can move that quick at such a low altitude and hover over a commercial airliner
25 Year old bartender walking home from work in the early hours like normal.
Views on UFOs, before and after sighting
Believed some, never seen any until now.
I can't identify it and that scares me.
