The Future Of UFO Evidence?

Hello all,

I've been a member here for a long time and am sad to see the forums goto hell because of one idiot. I keep trying to contact the admin here to make a proposal, but he/she never replies to emails. Can't say i blame them witht he amount of spam this board gets.

Anyway i have a solution. About one ywar ago i started a UFO Website/Community called UFO Evolution. It's getting very popular. What i'm saying is, why not use my forums for the forums here. It can be controlled and i run a tight ship. No spam gets on the site. In return i will link back to all the great articles on this website. Basically both the websites would be teamed up. his one, being the main content website and UFO Evolution being the forums.

Have a look at my site and you will see it's of high standard and im good to my word. The link is at the bottom of this post.

I understand this website is popular, but i think mine has the potential to be even more popular eventually, so i think it's a good move for both sites. If you are interested, please let me know. If not sorry to bother you.

Kudos for attempting to treat this subject matter in the vein I think most prefer.
I fully support the 'running a tight ship' mentality, simply because it's so badly
needed these days.. I haven't any qualms about measures which put the
vermin on their heels.

I remain as annoyed as everyone else that one 'moron' has been allowed to
disrupt an otherwise decent platform for so long, at ufoevidence.org.

I haven't any doubt that there's still a quality-minded audience out there that
would absolutely welcome the quality control you refer to, where frank
discussions prevail. For those of us who have clung to this forum, we are
keenly aware that reform is badly needed here.

You're correct that this website has maintained its popularity (there's been many
indications that past forum regulars aren't too far away), despite the nonsense
over the last year or so. I think we all agree that this forum still has plenty of
potential, even in its current format.

On several occasions, I've offered to act as a moderator, but haven't been
presented the opportunity. Understandable perhaps, since handing over any
portion of the reins to just anybody isn't easily done.. or perhaps the forum's
software itself may be the main hinderance to using a moderator, I'm not sure.

But to the site owner's credit, he/she has made a couple of modest changes
that have proven somewhat helpful. This (and at least a couple of mass purges)
at least confirms for me, that the owner is aware of the nonsense. His/her
future plans are what we have no clue about about. But we do need that
final stop gap put into place, whatever it may be.

I tend to agree that spam may be one reason why email inquiries have gone
unnoticed. It's unfortunate that we don't have alternate pathway in which to pass
along ideas and suggestions (such as the one you've provided).
