This is really interesting. My father many years ago saw someone in a robe with the hood pulled over their head. His first thought was my mother had bought a new robe. He had been at the bottom of the stairs and saw the figure at the top of the stairs. It walked down the hallway and he lost sight of it. He immediately went upstairs and looked in the bedroom and my mother was sound asleep.
Several days later, while downstairs, he heard thumping in what he assumed was my bedroom. He thought I was playing. When I walked in the frontdoor a moment later, he immediately went upstairs. Our dog had followed. When they reached the top, our dog ran to the end of the hallway and charged into the bedroom only to immediately back up with her backend raised up and her hair standing on end. My dad, a gutsy WWII vet, ran to the bedroom and looked in only to see nothing. What ever had been there was gone. The poor dog was out of sorts for a few minutes, tho. I also saw a ghost in this house. We found out later that two people had committed suicide in the tuckunder garage. .

You mentioned your bed shook. This could be that you've been having Out of Body experiences and you have attracted special attention from a spirit you encountered from one of these OBE's.
Since this is a UFO forum, I will add that it's been mentioned here before that some alien encounters, maybe all, seem to effect a persons state of consciousness - before, during, and even after the event. Perhaps the entire surroundings, not just the individual, is altered. What this is exactly I dont recall, phased slightly out of our dimension? At any rate. For some abductess, I think the shifting side effect is humans can more easily interact with a different plane of existence and once someone has experience this, they are more likely to awaken their psychic abilities, see ghosts, spawn OBE's.
Aliens usually have motives that are deliberate and well planned. They get in, do their business, and get out! I dont think they're going to stalk you in your home, knock over things, answer to a Ouija board.
I just completed this survey last night, notice how well you fit the common perceptions related to OBE's:

Heh.. wow.. thats pretty crazy you say that... a visit i had from a spirit came on the same night of the day i had an OBE. Granted.. that OBE was caused by eating an 8th of shrooms... but it was an OBE all the same... ty for the info, i had often wondered if those two events were correlated... my guess was yes, but never had anything to base that conclusion on till now.

I had some experiences like this over a period of about 5 years. This was 12 years ago now. No one in my household ever saw anthing, Whatever this was, was invisible. We came to the belief that whatever it was was a female. I say this because we had quite a few negative experiences around my wife and oldest teenage daughter.
It started slow. My daughter would complain that her little sisters had been in her room and moved things or threw her clothes on the floor. Stuff like that. These episodes were infrequent. Something would happen, then months might go by before something else would happen.
On one occasion my daughter had a friend over. They were lying in bed girl talking observing lights from a type of disco ball I had given my daughter for Christmas. Then the light slid across the dresser and slammed into the mirror upsetting it. My daughter and her friend came to me immediately and told me. It shook them up pretty good. I believed them. My daughter is a good girl who doesn't make up wild stories. She never played around with the occult either. We are a fairly religious family who attended church every week at this time.
Another time my daughter heard a loud noise in her room that woke her. She sat up in bed and looked around. On this same dresser she had a large crystal candle-holder. She said it was vibrating all by itself making the noise. Then it flew through the air right at her. She said she thought it was going to hit her in the face. She had an old fashioned canopy bed without the curtains. The candle-holder struck the frame above her head, shot to the floor and shattered. She was terrified and came and shook me awake. This was about 3 in the morning. I went to her room and tried to figure out how this happened. I saw the broken glass. All the windows in my daughters room were closed, and we didn't have any pets whatsoever. We didn't have any problem with mice or anything like that either. Plus, this thing was fairly heavy. No way a mouse could move this thing, much less throw it a distance of almost 10 feet. My daughter's bedroom was in the basement and very large.
On two occasions my wife was in the basement, once in my daughter's bedroom, and another time in a little laundry room we had. My wife felt a human hand touching her. One occasion it pulled and tugged at here clothes. She was very frightened.
And one time this thing tried to push my daughter down the stairs leading to the basement. My daughter said she had to hold on to the railing and fight against this thing. She also was terrified.
This is why we got the impression that this invisible person was a girl or woman, and did not like other females. But no one ever saw anything.
This all started when a friend of my daughter stayed with us over Christmans holidays. She had been playing with friends using Ouija boards and seances. She lived in Florida, we had just moved to New England. But my daughter's friend told us that things moved around her. When she stayed with us, she said some things had moved and my daughter said she thought things in her room moved too. That is when it all started. This lasted about 5 years and was very frightening to us. I even asked the Pastor of my church to come pray and try to get this thing to go. He did come over. And we did not have any incidents after that. We moved shortly after that and have no had any more problems.
So, I kinda know what you are going through. Very scary. I think it would be more scary if you saw things. Thankfully, we never saw anything. Still scared the crap out of all of us.
I never believed in this stuff till this happened. I do now.

Wow, that was an interesting link. I went ahead and gave my e-mail address and took the survey. It never crossed my mind about OBE's. I checked every box except two boxes, that is exactly what I have been feeling. Last night and the night before were bad nights for me, I haven't gotten much sleep, I am really tired. Whatever it is, happened last night again, so much that I finally ended up turning on my lamp that was beside my bed. The paralysis and the touching makes me madder than hell because I keep praying and praying for God to take this away from me, for this to stop and I feel that my faith is very strong and nothing seems to work. My boyfriend who I had mentioned before, he was sleeping with me last night and I kept feeling paralyzed and scared and I couldn't scream, so I tried to rationalize it again like I usually do and say, oh it's just sleep paralysis, I just have a sleep disorder and so I decided to stop fighting it and let go, it was a horrible feeling and I wasn't asleep. So then I thought I would pray and it was just like a battle, it was awful. I opened my eyes and rolled over and told Eric, my boyfriend, to turn the lamp on. He said gladly. I didn't know what the hell he meant by that until this morning while I was getting ready for work. He asked how I slept and I said horribly, I kept feeling that thing again. He said before I told him to turn the lamp on he was going to carress my hand thinking it was behind my head since it looked so clear, he went to grab and touch it and he went through it and touched my hair. He said it scared the chit out of him, but he didn't want to tell me until the morning because he could tell I was afraid last night. If that makes sense to anyone, which I have never heard that before, my boyfriend isn't one to lie and he is scared to death himself of these things, I would sure love any explanation or theory about this. I appreciate all responses and thanks again Cosmic for the link, good eye opener.:)

last nite i had the most weirdest dream thats why ive come online to see if anyone else has had this happen to them,well it happened like this last nite i had many normal dreams and when i was waking from some of these dreams i thought there was a tall man standing next to my bed,id only see him for a milli second so it wasnt that bad.then after this happened three or four times i woke up and to my horror there was a massive tall hooded whatever standing next to my bed,i couldnt move or scream when i was screaming it was coiming out but it was to low it was like my throat was totaly shot this thing what ever it was was totaly evil it did look like the grim reaper and i was nearly scared to death it was just standig there sort of staring at me its hood was pointing at me and i felt like he was staring at me this is the worst thing thats ever happened to me at nite i know it might of been some dodgey sleep paralis but it did not seem like it . i will never tell anyone anything exept for it was a nightmare cause they think im mad anyway just thought i let u know therse things are evil
