What are you suggesting, that he resign as a captain of star fleet command, and then what? Take up making boats in bottles, or tying flies, maybe do a llitte light gradening. He could join the Shriners I suppose, and drive around in one of those tiny cars, maybe sing some kareoke, you know for the crippled kids. Sell a few tickets to those car raffles at the mall, maybe go down the Legion, and shoot the breeze with the fellas.
