Perhaps your subconcious let out a fleeting glimpse of something that happened
to you in your life. Maybe you actually had contact with a Grey. Sometimes a
person has these "subliminal messages" or visions that last for only a fraction
of a second, but are tremendously clear when they come. Just a thought.
But it also could have been because you saw the cover of a book, or went
to a movie and saw something about Aliens, or had seen a newscast or
documentary on TV that flooded back into your mind temporarily, and you had
a desire afterwards to draw it on paper.
