This courageous woman--along with the rest of American women--was forbidden to vote until 1920, when the 19th Amendment was passed.

When Ms. Ingle performed this amazing feat of courage and selflessness--a few years earlier she wouldn't have been allowed to help choose her city councilman.

That's one of the bravest and craziest things I've ever seen. Proof that those who say women can't handle fear and should be in the kitchen etc - should have their tiny balls ripped off. I was looking for the safety line, and of course there isn't one, because she's climbing all over two aircraft too quickly! Today they would demand she wears a high visibility jacket and a hard hat just to be near an aircraft wheel, never mind get in one!

Leah Remini left Scientology because she made the bold move of questioning where Shelly Miscavige is. She learned about the Church of Scientology's corrupt upper level management. Have you done your research yet?

It's clearly a set up (lots of camera angles etc) But she still performed the stunt! She was pretty fearless.

Even if I were capable of doing this physically, there's not enough money in the world to get me to take this kind of risk. I can't imagine being that brave.

Impressive. Is he running with an engine with a similar output to the original or is it a more modern, powerful engine?

As a Tiger Moth pilot with 1100 hours on type, I have to say that is some of the best flying I have ever seen! The sequences are superbly choreographed, practiced and performed! Well done Dave!

Thank you poster for the HISTORICAL RESEARCH and great Effort. The Moth is #2 on my list of Dream Planes.

You miss out so much with no operational slat/slots on the top wing of the old Tiger Moth. It's the only card you have to play. They give you a much grater safety margin, for forced landings and carrying big loads. And of course getting around a tight turn at low speed they are a must. But you must not spin the dreaded Tiger with them un-locked.

Exactly. On paper Germany should have won the war. I'd argue that they lost because of the decisions of the high leadership. Way they invaded russia, or not allowed women to work in the factories unlike the Allies. Things like that.

It was Hitler's strategic errors in Russia that cost Germany their best shot at knocking Russia out of the war before winter. Barbarossa was going exceptionally well until Hitler's late Aug '41 decision (overruling Gen Guderian) to stop Army Group center's advance towards Moscow and divert its Panzers south to help encircle Kiev. Though Kiev was a big tactical victory it was a strategic disaster since the month delay cost them any chance to take Moscow and perhaps knock Russia out of the war.
