T.W. I appreciate that we both agree that we disagree. I didn't mean to imply that we are on the cusp of being able to travel at "warp" speed. I only meant to point out that at our level of intelligence we have this "theory" that although unproven is able to help our understanding of the concept.Also of interest is that although it is unproven no one has ever found it flawed as no part of the concept violates any of the law of physics as we understand them. Now what I really am trying to understand is if you are open minded enough to believe the possible existance of "others" then how can you be so adamant in your belief that for an advanced civilization to travel at "warp" speed to be so unlikely? Here's an analogy. I happen do be more of a realist and would expect some alien to have to board a craft, start the engines, set a heading, and travel to where ever.... There are those who argue with me that I'm being closed minded because I don't subscribe to thier concept that aliens are able to transverse the vast distances of space by slipping in and out of other dimensions. Although I personally think that "warp" speed is more likely than "interdimensions" I can say that doesn't mean that interdimensionality doesn't exist. We just don't know. If aliens can be real than why not warp speed? or ghosts for that matter? Like you I would like to see proof but until then you must admit that the fact that noone can prove they don't exist can be nearly as compelling.

ok, i believe aliens r just like us only more advanced in technology. we cant be the ONLY thing in the universe, cuz the universe is infinite. I belive that aliens COULD be ppl just like us but w/ more intelegence, and more technology. hell, who knows, we could have some sort of powers but we just dont know how to tap into it. ok, think ppl, we only use 10% of our brain! einstine only used about 70%!!!!!!! think about the other 90% we could use in the future, and the other 30% einstine had!!! just think about that for a while............. i believe aleins r just like us but more advanced in everything.

The subject is very exiting and the logic let us know that we are not alone. On the other hand we are so far away (under our standards). There are a lot of troubling information of people having had experiences with UFO. Unfortunately there is so much garbage in the internet that one has difficulty to find true facts between all this misleading information. I would so much appreciate to find facts beyong discussion, to have the absolute truth on this topic.
So far I have not been able to cross such evidence.

Yes as real as an airplane. Hovercraft were designed by engineers of our earth. They are not alien beings they are human beings with a mission to advance in a new world like our own should our resources become deminished.

Mars, Venus, and Jupiter would be possible new homes for humans on this earth. These planets are closest to our solar system. If any of these planets show promise to harbour life I am certain our genetic engineers and scientists, as well as our test piolits would be the first to harness life on a nearby planet to continue the evolution of mankind.

And mankinds final mission is to make peace it's foundation for a loving world without violence or war. Peace is one big step for mankind and the innocent children of our mother earth will embrace this peace with laughing voices that will echo into the distant galaxies of the unknown worlds that have already made peace with other earth's similar to mankinds world.

Father time ticks slowly, allowing mankind time to incorportate humankinds traditions far into the galaxies known and unknown to the naked eye. I'm sure if other beings exist. They continue to exist to this very day by keeping a loving peaceful heart. And have shared their loving hearts with other nations within our vast Milky Way Galaxy.

It is my firm believe, that peace is a foundation that must be built in every world for life to exist eternally. Immortality is only gained through the rebirth of an innocent child. All children are gentle and kind. In the end the children will take mankinds hand and show him how to laugh and share the joys of love within their youthful hearts. May we learn from the children of our world how to keep peace in our human hearts.

I would suggest that you take a look at all theories before accepting just one that fits your thinking. Most theories are exactly that 'theories' and have absolutely no evidence to back them up. Sort of like "U...F...Ooooo's! I remember seeing the same program about his theories and to say the least his theory makes me salivate. But Gene Roddenberry had this theory back in the 50's even before Star Trek and nobody took him seriously because it was not possible to prove it. Uhhhhmmm... It still is NOT possible to prove it today either! So the conclusion to this subject is? Its not possible until it has been proven and your jest at the 20th century advancements as proof is ludicrous. There is a whole hell of a lot of difference between avial flight and bending time and space to send an object from one point to another through the void! Not to mention the laws of physics! In conclusion: Until somebody proves it to me, not with data or pictures but with fact or even if I could hold it in my hand then it stands to reason that it has not happened. Even to the degree of a THEORY!

I can't help myself.....
Just one person entered thier comments after mine and my point it proven. In his own words he states that although he believes that some form of extra-terrestrial must exist but very unlikely they could have traveled the vast distance to reach this puny planet.

Even as he wants thier existance to be true,his own conscience has to provide self-reassurance that they can't get near him. He contiued by suggesting that even if they were 10 million years ahead of us they still could not get here.

The fact of the matter is that the impossible is only that which has not happened yet. (here on earth as perceived by humans) consider the airplane,. What??? a man who can fly? less than 100 years ago such a statement would lead others to consider you mentally deficient!

What makes you think some alien race hasn't developed a way to manipulate space and time? Think I'm starting to sound off my rocker? A decade ago... back in 1994 an aerospace physisist, his name.... can't recall... oh yes... Miguel Alcubiares (or somethying like that) created a scientific theory explaining how to maniplulate space and time to in essense travel at ":warp" speed. Every scientist was left in awe as to this day there has not been a single scientist who can disprove or even show the slightest flaw in Miguel's theory.

I guess this means that if aliens do exist that it's VERY LIKELY they can get here from there.

After stating the previous I would like to say that I do believe that it would be arrogant of anybody on earth to believe there is no other civilizations out there in the universe. Saying that though I will follow it up with; the chances of them making it to earth are so astronomically impossible that I do not believe they have ever been here. Even if there civilization is 10,000 or a million years ahead of ours, I still do not believe they have yet to mess with such a piddily insignificant planet even if it were probable or let alone possible.
What they are thinking: A planet that cannot even tell the difference between a flying saucer and an airplane or a weather balloon! GEEZ! That is unless you're in Kansas and then we would consider them as our primary choice for first contact.

Anyone on this planet who truly believes that we, "we" refering to the human beings or homosapians collectively referred to as the human race, are the only living entity to have developed the higher level of intelligence that we as a society recognize to be the primary factor that distinguishes us from all other known species, terrestrial or otherwise, as the only species to posess such high intelligence are either hiding thier heads in the sand or are unable to accept the truth due to some psychological problem such as an uncontrollable inability to contemplate the true reality of our existance as doing so would provoke a level of fear and or terror on such an unprecidented level as to produce symtoms raging from severe stress and anxiety to an inability to cope and in extreme cases, insanity!

The evidence that "proves" the existance of "othes" is undeniable and has been available to the general public for many, many years.

There are those that even after seeing and understanding the undeniable evidence which they themselves agree meets the criteria under the strict definition of being "scientific proof" ( which means it is true and indisputable) will suddenly revert back to some level of skepticism., My medical conclusion is that this sudden decision reversal reaction is a flight or flight response to the psychological expectations as I explained previously.

I began expecting to contribute two sentences. My apologies...

UFOs are real, but what arte they? Although most UFO sightings can be dismissed as hoaxes or misidentifications, enough credible people report things in the sky that appear to be artificial and act "intelligently" to make one wish for definitive answers.
