really takes a long time for light to travel and if we' are only sending or monitoring only electronic signals at that rate of speed we could be waiting for a very long time.
We might do better to trying to discover how time travel works,and to achieving to understand true origins first might help us to understand how to find alien if they really exist.

We are very, very, rare and unique!

I think that "if" there is intelligent life in the universe, it happens very rarely. If life evolves in a similar process like it did here on earth, it's even more rare considering the fact that we as humans probably wouldn't have evolved if the dinosaurs hadn't been wiped out. And for an intelligent life-form to figure out the near impossibility of interstellar travel: to propel a biological life form at light speed through the universe is in my opinion an impossibility. I believe life is probably in abundence in the universe, but intelligent life is probably very, very, rare.

Three thousand years ago a tribe of people ( later to be come known as the Dogons) migrated from Egypt to a place known now as Timbuktu. These people brought with them astronomical knowledge so advanced that some their knowledge was was still unknown until the 1960's infact it was 1970 before their much taked about star "digitariia" was finally sited and photographed. These people were aware of all the astronomical details of this remarkable exceedingly heavy star, orbiting the well known star Siriius.
The arrogance of the modern historians to delete from the astronomical books these details is almost unbelievable . Then if that was'nt enough, these modern day Astronomers didnt have the decency to call this star Digitaria, but instead
contemptuously named it Sirius B. Shame on all those responsible for these deliberate omissions. Where did the ancient Egyptian's get their knowledge.?
Obviously from some people who came from that area in the galaxy, how else?
