Careful interpretation is required Podesta's comments, it must be noted, do not contain an admission that Area 51 is nessarily involved in collecting or possesing of any information regarding UFO's. He calls for a review of what might be able to be declassified -- and what might currently be classified but worthy of public dissemination could very well turn out to have absolutely nothing to do with UFO's. After all, work at Area 51 is claimed by some to entail activities unrelated to UFO research.
Yes, his comments are tantalizing, particularly in the context of beliefs that OFO's are of extraterrestrial origins. But we shouldn't project certain beliefs and/or suspicions-assumptions into the remarks. |
