I saw a UFO as well in 1987 in Gulf Breeze

It was in the fall of 1987 and about 10 PM when I saw a light in the sky. It seemed very earie. After about 30 seconds of hovering in one spot, it went from one end of the sky to the other in less than a second. It was also during that time when my Aunt told me a story of how she was abducted on Pensacola Beach. She has since died from a brain tumor. Anyways, I believe the Gulf Breeze stories. I know many of the residents there and there is no reason they would be telling false stories.

The "model"

I am neutral on the validity of Mr. Walter's sightings. However, I saw photos of the "model" in the Pensacola News Journa a couple of days after it was "discovered." It was made of a couple of paper plates stapled face to face and embellished a bit; and looked nothing like the "UFO" in Walter's photosl.

Mr. Walter might have been seeking publicity but I find it difficult to believe he would be intelligent enough to engineer a hoax like that and then stupid enough to leave his "model UFO" where it could be found.

I have read all of MR. Walters books and they are fantastic and very Informing and so true. Mr.Walters should have been invited to the White House to receive all the honours as he is now the bravest man in the USA All the people on Earth should read his books. from Mike Lettau Toronto Canada

Gulf Breeze Hoax

This story is a hoax. Nothing but the most hyped UFO story of all time. I read the book and was in awe. But the more I read, the more I became skeptical. And when the kid found the model, I then reached my conclusion that these two boneheads wanted publicity and got it. What idiots. I believe in Santa Claus more than I do in the Gulf Breeze sightings.

I am a college student that is attending a class on aliens, ufo's, etc. I am interested in anyone that has seen these sightings or have had contact with e.t life in the gulf breeze area.
