Rendlesham Forest Incident

I was station at RAF Bentwaters from 1984-1991 as a firefighter/rescueman. During this time this incident was discussed numerous times. I have always taken an interest in UFO's and other paranormal behaviors so this incident really pick up my interest. I talked to numerous residents in the area and also spoke with several local civilians assigned to the base. All of them seemed to think the same thing and that the UFO was not a UFO. On foggy nights in the U.K when the fog is settled lower to the ground the lights from the Lighthouse along the coast and the lights from the Air Traffic control tower on Base would all reflect off the low clouds/fog and bounce back into the forest. I witnessed this many times and it seems to be a logical explanation. The lights from the ATC were both Red/Blue/White. The lights from the Lighthouse white. When these lights reflected back they made a very strange light through the forest. At times it looked as if they were backing away from you others times it would seem to be coming to you and then still others would seem to break up and dissapper. Again, deppending on the movements of the clouds/fog. Now, I am not sure if it were a UFO but I do know what I have seen. The oddest thing was that the part of the forest in mention was off limits at the time I was station there to all military. Unless your a young and reblious Airman like I was at the time. Just my thoughts on this. I have seen so many things from books that show pics of Missles on base and secret underground bunkers. None of them true. The missles shown were actually 55 gallon drumss welded together to look like a missle and placed on the back of an old truck. The underground bunker was a fuel depot. Just my thoughts... Thanks

orford ness fireballs

I had until now never been able to explain the fireballs I had seen in the suffolk skies in the early sventies. I have read several articles on Cobra Mist, the fireballs i saw would probably been from that site, although it would have been some fifteen miles from my location in Bedfield, but the right direction. I as an electrical engineer I have an understanding that the power uesd in the cobra mist system could produce the phemomona i saw as a teenage child which at the time was quite frightening.
