Right on Target

Given Edgar Mitchell's recent revelations, this article is the best explanation I have seen regarding the UFO cover up. I have always felt "Roswell" was true and I know a lady who is from there whose father told her he actually saw the bodies of the aliens. That this level of secrecy has been maintained OUTSIDE proper elected channels of control is absolutely frightening. One of the things I wanted to know for sure in the course of my lifetime (I am now 60) is the CONFIRMATION from someone of sufficient level that what I sincerely believe is actually true. The U.S. is now in one of the most critical periods of its existence. It is almost as if someone is engineering the destruction of our nation from within, it makes me wonder if it is the same people who hold the power you mention.

I Have Doubts About Reverse Engineering of Extraterrestrial Technology

I am a retired DoD Astro/Aero/Electronic Engineer. I spent 10+ years active duty in the USAF; resigned as a Cptn. I then spent another 18 years as a civilian employee of the USAF, Navy and USA; accepting an early retirement in 1994. I earned a BS in Astronautical Engineering, courtesy of the USAF, from the University of Colorado in 1968. I was there when Dr. Condon was producing his so called report.

I have no reservations accepting the reality that life is wide spread in the Universe and is not constrained to the Earth. I similarly have no qualms accepting the likelihood that the Earth has been and is today visited by extraterrestrials. I further accept the likelihood that the US government and other governments have recovered crashed extraterrestrial vehicles. However; I reject the concept that Earthlings have reversed engineered the technology of these vehicles.

If we had a time machine and could travel in time to our past with say a USAF fighter or bomber aircraft to deposit in the lifetime of lets us say Sir Isaac Newton; someone we would both probably agree was highly intelligent. My contention is that he would have no likelihood of determining the function of any systems of the aircraft even if he was allowed to see it flying to and landing on the lawn of Cambridge thereby enabling him to understand the gross function of the aircraft. He would have advantages that Earthlings reverse engineering a UFO would not, such as being able to read inscriptions on the aircraft with a minimum of effort. Understanding them would prove exceedingly difficult for him. Here we are speaking of about 350 years of technological advancement from Newton's time to today not thousands or millions of years as the case may be for a recovered UFO. I accept the possibility that with the somewhat sophisticated technology we now posses that we might be able to unravel some electronic mechanizations from a technology only relatively advanced ours (say 1000 years); but not the big picture operations.

With the advent of Global warming and Peak Oil fast upon the bloated human population coupled with the high likelihood that we have engineered the next mass extinction event for the Earth, with our greed and need to procreate; I would find it highly unlikely that the potential to save humanity and the Earth with reverse engineered UFO technology would remain hidden away. If by your contention the reason it is hidden is to keep the behind the scenes puppeteers in power what could provide them with more power than technology which could not be defeated. On the other hand if the puppeteers are in actuality extraterrestrials I could accept their logic for keeping such technology out of the hands of lunatic humans

Consultation vs. Disclosure

I find it interesting that someone who claims to have acted as a consultant for government and military branches listed on this site is now rallying against them, thereby destroying any hope of keeping the information conduit open (assuming one actually existed). Why are you burning your bridges? Surely, these agencies will not continue to share their knowledge with you if they expect you to turn around and post it online for all to see. In fact, it might be an excellent opportunity for them to feed you FALSE information.

While I agree that alternative energy sources must be sought and integrated into society, I too find myself hesitant to share this technology with everyone, including those parties who would do us harm in a heartbeat. Until everyone reaches a minimum level of civil tolerance, it is unwise to disperse technology so freely that has the potential to harm us.

Science is far more globalized than I think most people care to admit and it would be only too easy for countries that send large numbers of researchers here to the States each year (such as China, India, and Germany) to send their findings home. The scientific community, by and large, relies heavily on the transfer and sharing of information. So long as we continue to rely so heavily on highly skilled labor from abroad, one must expect the rapid transfer to and subsequent adaptation of all technologies available to researchers by their home countries.

Remember, not every war started was triggered by greed and the desire to stake claims on natural resources. Technology sharing will not, in any way, influence deep ideological chasms that segregate nations of differing religious beliefs or political affiliations. Until we learn to overcome all aggressions that do not originate from a desire to possess natural resources held by others, we cannot assume a safe and peaceful transition into a world where advanced technologies (extraterrestrial or otherwise) are shared freely across borders.

This is an interesting article with many fascinating points, however, the main point of the article is a feverish yearning for full disclosure of the E T phenomenon in a philosophical method which mirrors the operational philosophy of the modern media. Tell it all. Damn the consequences. Every citizen of this country has a right to know. National security? To hell with that. Who will it hurt? Who cares. Everyone must know. Sort of like Dan Rather's imbecillic handling of the Abu Graib prison issue in Iraq. Spit it out. Everybody has a right to know. To hell with national security. Then a handful of fine men were beheaded with Abu Graib as the savage's rallying cry. I agree that the existence of E.T. should be acknowledged by the government and an explanation given, but the full disclosure of every aspect of the UFO techno-culture is not so wise. Just as the Democratic leadership of the cold war was not apprised of the Venona cables because of its communist leanings in the early years (i.e. FDR's sad devotion to Alger Hiss and admiration of Joe Stalin), the liberal politicians of today are not to be trusted with everything there is to know about E.T. techology. They are like children with important things. If you want something screwed up to disaster, let a feel good liberal get his hands on it.

iT's not secrecy or its exposure or ending of it, over which, obviously, we don't have control and have not had a while now. THE public, enough of them, do accept what you say. So the only *place* left is to think and feel for oneself. Any real change always happens from the grass roots UP. You cannot impose lies on a disbelieving public. You are still relying on the silly notion tnat the IN-formed have to tell the uninformed, as an elitist idea. But the uninformed have been misinformed and to assume this in a climate where most people already disbelive ain't logical..
