Tiny Devices

There's these small approximately one foot long by eight to ten inch across six inch high flying devices that appear to be constructed to look like a beetle type insect having the colors of brown and green. There's also two metal antennas. The botom surface is enitirly flat. When this device flies away it ascends in a spinning motion
The device seems to have the ability to detect anyone around it thereupon it flies away. I suspect such devices are constructed to look like insect life so when there're aloft an observer would have difficulty estimating size hence the characteristic of simply looking like a flying insect.
I have seen one of these devices on say three occasions at the same location very near a rock quarry I truck out of regularly. The object positions itself about thirty feet off the ground around some small willow trees and seems to watch the truck going back and forth from the quarry.
The rock quarry is known as Syar Lake Herman in Vallejo California.
