Homework "Visits duration and user´s engagement"

Hi, I'm a student from Tanzania.
I have to develop a homework: "Visits duration and for websites."
I have written to website owners and asked them about the visits duration of their website.
There are websites which are a guilty pleasure for many. They have an addictive appeal, and lend themselves to at least 30 minutes of browsing per day.
But there are http://amse.net> sites which only have a visits duration of 30 seconds. Does anybody know where I can get the visits duration of as many websites as possible?
With the results I want to draw conclusions from visits duration about user´s engagement.

To me moving is one of the worst things you can possibly do and I have done it more times than I care to remember. We have done it ourselves and hired moving companies to move us. That is what this Epinion is about. Hiring a moving company.

When you have decided it’s time to move, either across town or across the country there are a few things that you need to know about hiring a moving company.

The first thing I can suggest is ask around about moving companies and what experience people have had with them. Make a list of several that you think you would like to use then pick up that phone and call the Better Business Bureau and find out what kinds of complaints have been issued against that company and were they satisfactorily settled or not settled at all. Once you have done that then decide on the company that will give you the least problems.

Ask if the company is licensed and bonded and then ask to see copies of these documents. Just remember you are letting total strangers into your home to go through your most personal items. Every now and then the movers will hire someone that has stealing on their mind, not the actual packing.

Call far enough in advance of your move to get a written estimate from them, everything should be in writing or you don’t have a leg to stand on.

Find out what services they offer such as packing, storing if necessary, how long will it take to get your belongings to their final destination. Unloading and unpacking. I prefer to unpack myself as they just dump the stuff in the floor and you are left with a huge hunt on your hands. Also, will they transport the second car so that the whole family can go together to the final destination?

Also ask does the company offer insurance against breakage and damage to your things. Just remember most companies do but they pro-rate it to go along with the age of the furnishings so you might not get but a couple of dollars.

When the movers come out to pack you will notice a person with a clipboard and several sheets of paper documenting your things. Ask to see these documents and check them carefully, you will notice that it will have a place to mark damages that already exist. Also notice that they do tend to mark damages that aren’t there too. That’s just in case something happens on the way and they won’t have to pay off. Question everything they have put down and if there isn’t any pre-existing damage demand that they remove it from the sheet. Once you have signed you have no recourse.

Take pictures of everything you can so when the van is unloaded you know what you have and what kind of condition it was in before it left you home to arrive at you new home. If you do find problems take pictures of that also. Record serial numbers.

My microwave didn’t seem to get on the truck to unload during one move. I told the movers to get on the phone and find out where it was now or I wasn’t going to move the cars out front to let the moving van move to it’s next destination. Funny how that microwave came out of the trunk of one of the un-packers. I did call the police and filed a complaint.

If you own guns check to see what the laws are for transporting these across state lines. Some states prohibit this and don’t let the mover talk you into sneaking them into the bottom of a box because they won’t be there when you arrive. This did happen to a friend of ours.

Jewelry, money and other items of great value should be taken with you. It’s a whole lot cheaper to rent a small U-haul than to have these items come up missing.

Remember to throw away as much stuff as possible. Moving is done on weight and the more weight the more it’s going to cost you.

Ask if your things are going to be the only ones on the moving van. There are times that the moving companies put two or three families together that are going to the same destination. It might cost more to have the van all to yourself, but; I have found it’s worth it. You minimize the chances of getting other peoples things and loosing yours.

Ask about their policy of you packing some of your things. Most of the time their insurance won’t cover the things you pack.

If you have to leave the house for any reason during the packing and loading process make sure you have someone there that you can trust to oversee what is going on. Never leave your home alone to complete strangers. That is just inviting trouble.

This could probably support my work.

I have been through this

I am not crazy nor am I on any kind of drugs. what has happened to me happened when I was awake n my own bed with my husband sleeping nest to me. I was waching TV some stupid movie were the action was taking place in the late 1800s. Then without warning or sound the wall next to the TV just opened, or I do not know hoe to explain it; and in came a figure of a mand. I say figure because it was not solid it was like a transmission and it was kind of like when your TV goes out of focus then it comes back. I was scaed to death because I knew who this was ( I do not have a clue). My mind knew. I could not for the life of me wake my husband up. This thing, man shaped moved his hand up and I was lifted up to the point where my nose touched the ceiling lights. I could not move and I was so scared. This thing madeanother moiton and I was turned around facing another wall and I could see the wall turning into jello like substance it was waggling. I started to cry and started to beg god not to let him take me. Oh Gd was I begging not to let it take me. It spoke into my haed and it said to stop preying no hope for you What a feeling of hopelesness! He made another motion and my floating bofy started to move towards the jello wall. I was screaming and praying in my head I could see my feet touching the jello wall when a green blue light came in the room and the wall became solid and it pushed me back into the bed. I could see that light increasing in size or focusing on the spot whaere this thing came out of and shoving it back and it was gone. As the green bleu light left it spoke in my head just like the otherbut kinder and it said it was far away and this it was like coming behind enemy lines when you fight a war. I was angered by it. When I bounced back on the bed my husband woke up and I could talk I told him what happened and he did not believe it I was crying histericcally got out of bed and walked around to his side of the bed, as I got there he looked at my pj pant who just happened to be brand new ( he bought it for me) and pointed out a huge tear in the material. Not at the seam but in the material itself. As if something grabbed at it and tor it from my waist to my ankle. I still have them and I can no longer sleep with the TV or lights of

Fear

I made a report to Nufok dated in 1989, light, in Saint Joseph, MO. of my husbund and my experience. It disturbs me to this day. I feel fear going to sleep at nite, and being alone. it seems that the word insane is used all to often to characterize anything that people just do not want to accept. just the thought of being called that will keep others from admitting what they saw,heard or contactted. yet these great men/women who study the mind have no greater usage of thier mental faculties as anyone else, yet we rely on thier input so heavily that we're blinded by the mere fact that they are just as inept as anyone else. so why trust someone who really can't understands everything about himself with your mental state is complete debauchery. with the way psychiatrists can precribe mind altering drugs without ever being required to become a certified doctor of medicine reflects the culture of today. this is insanity.

ZETA RETICULI INHABITANTS VISITS - A TOTAL CRAP STORY

Dear Readers,

Most recently-i've read articles on a far away 38+ light years away planet called ZETA RETICULI which has binary star system (meaning 2 suns).

I agree that scientists have spotted the abv with powerful telescops & may have added to the existing map of the universal sky modifying the records.

However-when i read about 12 earthlings travelling to the abv planet etc-it beat my commonsense to the point of no return & am still wondering as to how sensible people can write such articles mentioning inhabitants travelling from 38 light years to earth on a exchange programme.

While i certainly agree that there is life in the universe-pls take it from me that we earthlings will never be able to meet them even in next billion years to the power of a billion years.

Abv is all crap that they visited etc. Even at speed of light it would take them 39 years.

After reading that article, i am beginning to hate the topic of :

ARE WE ALONE IN THIS UNIVERSE

No point in any researches as i feel that its a waste of time & even in a billion years,if we are able to track a civilization in outer space,we would be really great.

Instead-we should invent a powerful telescope that can see 39 light years object clearly to one feet distance.

an orange light

this is what happen i was sleepen in my bed one nite and before that i was setting on the front porch of my house. i had a drink but anyway. when i went upstairs to lay down i fell alsleep. i had to go to the bathroom.
In my room there was a hole in my ceiling and when i tried to get up there was a glow and i could barely open my eyes like i was sedated. And i passed out. i woke up the next morning and peeed really long and the weird thing was i had something in my mouth it was under my tongue. i could wiggle it with my tonuge. I'am still in my bathroom so i look in the mirror and open my mouth as far i could too see what it was. it look like skin but i could feel like a hard metal so i rubbed it out with my index finger. and it fell down the drain. It was strange no one believed me they think i'am crazy. When i told them i think i was abducted by an alien race. It was like they knew i would pull it out and it would fall into a drain.

Has any one else...???

I'm curious if anyone has had similar experiances to mine OR if someone may have read something similar before & could direct me to the reference material.
When I was 5 I remember waking up feeling something tugging at my foot. I looked under my covers & there was an ugly square headed green witch with stubby rather than sharp features, tugging at my foot. The next thing I remember I was being dragged behind the witch above the small city where I live in Canada. I remember the orangey lights & how the street lights were like donuts with no light in the middle. I remember seeing buildings & the lake. The next thing I remember was sitting in my bed screaming & mother taking what seemed like forever to come in. It was all blamed on a 5 year old having a cola before bed, which I wasn't aloowed to do again until I was 10.
When we flew by airplane to the maratimes later that summer I remember looking at the city below & shivering at how it was so similar to my dream.
At 10 I went to see Close Encounters with my mom. She freaked when she saw the greys. They looked like the boogie men I drew in school. I could see thier faces in patterns everywhere. Ever since I was about 5.
Many years later I was staying at a cabin in Prince Edward Island with my wife & dog. We were in bed trying to get to sleep. There was a bright light that seemed to be coming in 2 windows at once. I remember saying what the heck? My wife said it was a car. I remember my dog barking once & then in the morning I woke up. I had a pain in my wrist so intence that I could barely bend it. It felt locked & riddled with ache. It lasted 2 weeks. I had to put it in a brace until I got home & could see my own doctor. He said it was tendonitis. I couldn't figure out from what??? I was on vacation & not doing anything strenuous or repetitive. Feeling my wrist one day it felt like there was a hard spot just at the wrists center. It hurt to touch. Being somewhat of tough guy I smashed my wrist flat agains a wall. I felt something shatter. After a second of pain, my wrist felt fine.
I know that there are thousands of explinations for everything I've writen. I'm bot interested in validation or debunking. I'm really just curious to hear similar stories from others.

Lost Time

Two summers ago, I experienced a loss of time, but have no other recollection. I was at the passenger door of my truck, listening to a cd, camping alone on a weeknight, with a good fire going. In 1965, I remember the week because it was shortly before my 17th birthday, my sister and I (five years older than me) were driving home from a night out in town - Middlesbrough - once part of Yorkshire, now in Cleveland to a village where we'd just moved with our parents - Yarm-on-Tees in the North of England. The village is situated about seven or eight miles away. Neither of us drank, I didn't even smoke cigarettes. I'd spent a pleasant evening in a coffee shop sipping tea and talking to an old school friend. It would have been around 11.30. pm.when we approached a dark remote spot called Leven Bank about two miles before the village and surrounded by fields, it was February, cold and black. Somewhere in the area to our right, set a little off the road was a pub. I presume it was closed. Quite suddenly, without warning my sister's car began to lose speed as it it were being drained of power, slowly it came to a halt. The car radio went off. My overwhelming feeling was surprise. To the left, coming from a field (completely black countryside fenced off) there were blinding lights and a very loud noise as if of rotary blades -- it was very very near, I'd put it at about eight or ten feet away. It was as though we'd come to a stop only feet away from a very powerful helicopter that was about to take off, except the noise seemed much more powerful. I couldn't move, although physically I think I was capable of movement - I'll never know. . I was somehow vaguely aware that beside me, my sister, who'd been driving was in the same state. Then came a voice in my head - very clear and distinct -it was telling me wordlessly - that if I moved my eyes even slightly to the left I would - how can I put it -- my own feeling was -- that -- I would simply cease to be. I remember sitting motionless staring straight ahead - in some kind of a hypnogogic state -- yet very aware and frightened too --and waiting. I had an urge to move my eyes slightly to the left but the voice kept telling me that would be a very bad idea. The experience was surreal, and yet incredibly intense and it was happening.. The noise coming from the left intensified, there was a sensation of wind from beyond the car and a whirring noise, something like the whirring rotors of a helicopter -- it became more and more powerful and deafening and there were lights, very very bright like floodlights only feet away. I was paralysed with shock/fear and did as I was told, kept my eyes straight in front of me. I wasn't at all sure I was going to survive whatever was happening and I remember thinking that would be a pity as I'd been looking forward to my birthday. The noise became louder and louder and then as suddenly as it had occurred it was gone. We were surrounded by darkness, the night was silent. Immediately, the radio came back on and so did the car's engine. The experience seemed to take about three or four minutes. My sister and I were - I suppose both in shock -- we drove home in silence, I can't remember what we said, I think almost nothing. I remember I went straight upstairs to bed. Maybe I was still in shock - I don't remember. Neither of us referred to the experience again, only once, years later. It was then that she told me that she had looked at her watch when we entered our house and it had been about four in the morning. It should have been about 12.15.p.m. I do not believe we were "abducted." The energy felt alien, cold and frightening, yet, to their credit, they did not harm us. I believe we may have disturbed whatever was there, and whatever it was simply used mind control and then took off. Or maybe they scanned us. I am now a 58 year old woman, I never speak about this experience because on the few occasions I've tried, I've quite naturally encountered only incredulity or silent disbelief. I have no explanation. I am a very normal, rational educated person. None the less, I know what I saw -- or rather didn't see, and yes, whatever is out there, they have very sophisticated methods of mind control..

dream or real?

I don't believe in them...........Greys, ETs, etc etc....but the dream I had last night made me wonder............I've never experienced a UFO, or an abduction, nor have I ever dreamt about them-but last night I had a dream about being abducted........and it was so real.

It was daytime, and I didn'tremember waking up. I just remembered I was to meet a cerain man by the Cumberland River ( the river that flows through our town here). When he appeared, he was wearing a red suit, much like a jailbird's jump suit, only red. He looked completely human, only much taller (about 7 ft), and his facial features were human, but more pronounced---the jawline was extremely chizled, and he had big, round deep blue eyes.....not slanted like the ones you'd usually hear about.

He was all smiles, laid back, and happy to see me. He said he was here to take me to another "person" who would assign me.

Assign me? I asked him.

Apparently I was on some list to be given some sort of physical. Suddenly, several other people showed up.......they were also part of this group, and had been told to come and meet this man as well. The people seemed very relaxed and excited to be there. Some of them had told me that they'd been through this dozens of time, and it's nothing to be worried about.

Suddenly, the sky became filled with shooting stars. As they sped across the sky, the others pointed to them and said "Here they come! See, when you see the shooting stars like that, it means they are entering the atmosphere.

Suddenly it dawned on me what they were talking about..........I turned to the man in the red suit and said "You've got to be kidding me, right?"
and he said "What is wrong, do you not want to be here?"
I didn't know how to answer him, so I just fell silent.
The next thing I remember were bright, irridecent lights above me..........then I was suddenly in a bright room by myself. The door was open to a long, well lit hallway. I could here the voices of the other people echoing down the hall..........they were chatting amongst themselves and laughing..i still couldn't understand what was going on. The rooms resembled simple doctor's clinic rooms........clean, bright, sterile. Each room downthe hall had one person in it, but theones that had experienced this before were swapping stories and laughing about it.
Then, the man in red came into the room with a silver tray of some of the oddest instruments I have ever seen. Scared, I asked him "What are you going to do to me......."
He laughed at me and said "I'm not going to do anything to you. I'm here now to set up the exam for "him".
I asked the man-"Who is "HIM" and why the hell am I here.....I am scared now."
He just smiled and said-"There's nothing to be afraid of-we aren't here to hurt you, we are just here to check on you and your wellbeing. We have put you in a group of others fit for reproduction. We want to see if you can concieve with one of our own."
In total shock and now trembling, I told the man "But you can't. I have had my tubes tied!!!"
The man said "Leave that up to us..........you will be amazed at what we can do to reverse the situation....what, aren't you as excited as the others are to try our experiment? Just relax and do not worry. He will be here soon."

I decided not to stay around. As soon as the man in red left the room, I took off. I went down the hallway, and it became a maze. I found myself going outside of the "ship", to find I was in a completely different place-not Clarksville, not Tennessee...no way close. The sky was redish orange, and thin fingers of lightning shot through the atmosphere high up. Thre were rows and rows of what seemed elevated train tracks above me-only the rails and the trains were unlike anything I had ever seen before.
After what seemed hourse of running to find a way out, I ran into "Him"-the man who was supposed to perform this "experiment"
"Lelia, why are you so afraid? We have matched you with one of our best, and he is waiting to meet you"
Suddenly, the other people who had experienced this before were standing around him, looking at me with dissapointment.
All I could say was "I want to go home. Take me home NOW."
Theman suddenly looked very sad. He frowned and slowly shook his head.
"I will take you back home. I do hope in the future you will allow us to try this experiment. See, the others have been with us before....and they are not afraid. Do you not want another baby?"
I said "not like THIS..."
Then the people began to school me and shame me for not accepting this great offer.
The comet showers came again, and the bright lights above. The man in red appeared and took me by the hand to lead me away. The "Other" man said "We will come to see you later. Next time, please don't be afraid of us."
I woke up.

Gravity

Gravity is not a Force. Try to think of Gravity as an orientation mechanism… like a Simon Says. Therefore Gravity is not a pull or push force, but merely an instruction.

All matter has the ability to propel itself. At an atomic level, all matter has what can be called tiny thrusters. Gravity orientates these tiny thrusters to point upward causing matter to propel itself towards the ground. These tiny thrusters can only point in one direction at a time.

Take a block of stone. Instructing the tiny thrusters within to spin in a circle would cause them to negate their own action and the block of stone would float.

East Indian Yogi’s float in the same manner.

UFO’s do not have an engine to produce thrust. They are equipped with a Drive Inductor. The key word here is Inductor. The electromagnetic field that envelopes the craft and its occupants induces or compels the tiny thrusters in the ship and its occupants to point in a certain direction. Since these tiny thrusters are also responsible for what we call Inertia, directional changes may be made at any speed without harm to the ship or its occupants.

Power for the Drive Inductor is produced by a Crystal housed inside a radioactive chamber. The radioactive element vibrates the crystal, which produces an ample supply of electricity to power the ship.

This orientating mechanism we call Gravity is the same mechanism that Kung Fu Masters use to repel an attacker. A simple touch is all that is needed to send a signal to an opponent to send him reeling against a wall. The associated punch is merely a Kung Fu sleight of hand to cover up the real Magic.
