Full Description & Details

In 1976 a friend and I were riding a motorcycle (I was the passenger) over to a friends house approx. 5 miles away in another small town. It was just after sun set when we just came into the edge of the town. From the corner of my left eye I saw a bright white intense light. I turned and face the light it changed from a bright white to a bright red then to a dull red to a blue. Then all of a sudden I saw this saucer shaped object appear with char marks on the outer shell 3/4 of the way to the top of the saucer there were what appeared as windows that had a yellow light that was coming from them. We were close enough that I could see the separations between what looked like windows and the char on the outer shell. All this time there was never any sound from the saucer. It was just taking it's time hovering across this small town and (it was very big) we followed it as far as we could then we just sat at a stop sign and watched as it faded off into the dark. Neither one of us said a word until we got to our friend's house and started walking up to the house my friend turned and said to me. "Did you see what I saw" I said, " I don't know what did you think you saw,” he said, " Man I just saw a UFO" I said, "Yeah I know so did I" We went inside and told our story to our friends. A day or two later I went back over to my friends. He then told me that his wife was standing on their front porch (facing in the direction of the small town that we were going to) steps talking to her mother she said that she saw the bright white light and told her mother to look at it and then all of a sudden it was gone. I don't know if her mother ever saw it but she sure did. We never reported it because no one would have ever believed us. That was one of the strangest feelings that I have ever had to this date. I wasn't scared at all as a matter of fact when we were following the saucer other people were pulling up to the stop signs along the pathway and I could see them sitting in there vehicles and I was thinking to myself. "Well now it's out look at all these witnesses seeing this happen right before their eyes" I never ever heard of anyone else say any thing about that evening. That’s the part that to me is strange very strange it was right there above them visible to the naked eye all they had to do was look up.

When you see one. "What a Feeling" the unexplained can give you. And if two people see a UFO it is not a sure thing that both people will describe it exactly alike. Why else would they call it a UFO.

Full Description & Details

I was waiting for sputnik to come by in about 15 minutes when I seen this bright object in southern part of sky brighter than the star sirius. At first I thought it was light from a plane but all of a sudden I looked away than looked back and it was gone. I than laid down on the grass waiting for sputnik and than looking up the bright light was straight up. I went over to my 6" newtonian telescope and was looking at it. It was round but what was odd was I didn't turn on my drive for the telescope and the object didn't move so it wasn't a star. Eveyone that looked at it asked me when they were looking at it that other lights were moving past it and the bright light didn't move. That is when I told them the motor wasn't turned on what they saw was stars moving through the field of view because the scope drive wasn't turned on so the stars would move through the field of view. When it was my turn to look again I looked into the eyepiece and the object was gone when I looked up it was gone and one of the people said look here comes sputnik Just for the heck of it I keep looking into the eyepiece and low and behold sputnik whet right through the the center of the field of view of the eyepiece. What I could get out of this was that whatever that thing was was viewing sputnik coming at it and when it got close it just vanished. When the object disapeared no one was looking straight up at the time so no one actualy seen it disapear. A couple of people saw it move from south to straight up in just a matter of a second. Because it was straight up when I was looking at it with the telescop at about 250 power all I could see was the bottom of it and it was round that was for sure no lights just reflection from sun shineing on it. Today I own a 12 1/2" newtonian set up to do photography and wish I could see something like that now that I could put on film. John

Other Comments

What I seen was real mainly because I know the stars and it was brighter than any star in the sky and what I saw was moving at the same speed as the rotation of the earth to stay is the field of view of the telescope when the right ascension and declination shafts were in lock position not allowing the scope to move in any direction. Kind of Sacary when you see something like this and can't explain it.

Full Description & Details

I was 11 years at the time and was living in a small fishing town called Filey on the east coast of the UK. My father was in the RAF and stationed there.

A friend and myself were walking along the cliff tops during the afternoon, when this bright oval object rose out of the sea and disappeared to the east at a terrific speed.

I reported this to my father when he came home, from the RAF Base and he told me not to say anything to anyone as there had been a bit of a "flap" on with the Radar at the base.

I believe that there is something out there, and that maybe there is a cover-up by the various authorities.

Full Description & Details

As a child on vacation with my parents in New England in the '50's, I went outside my motel room. There, police with binoculars and other people were viewing an object in the sky. The object stayed in place and did not move. It was circular, round, whitish, and obviously neither an airplane nor a helicopter. Were it a balloon, it's altitutde wind would have moved it. I was an avid airplane chlid and used to make plastic airplane models at that time. My hobbies also included astronomy. I believe the object was at a high altitutde because it was small (not tiny). I could see it clearly without binoculars.

Full Description & Details

This happened somewhere around 50 years ago when I was a child of 9 or ten. On 103rd street just a block or so East of Cicero ave in Oak Lawn, IL there used to be a Nike missile site. It is currently a Jewel food store (at least it was the last time I was there) and a small shopping mall next to the Arena shopping center.

I was at the head of the driveway watching the heat lightning play as there was a summer storm coming in when I noticed that the radar at the missile site was pointed straight up. Looking up I saw what seemed to be a circular or elliptical object hovering over the camp and casting a greenish glow. I'm sure my mouth dropped open as I gazed at it and then, after what I'd guess to be 15 or 20 seconds the object accelerated instantaneously to a high rate of speed and disappeared over the Northern horizon. I looked at the radar and saw it come to life, hunt a bit and then begin a normal search pattern (just going around in a circle).

At the McDonald school the next day I mentioned the experience and several classmates said that they'd also seen this.

Other Comments

General views? Based upon my experience I sure can't rule out the existence of UFO's. I do wonder though, if they DO exist they must prove the existence of a more technologically (and hopefully more intelligent) race of beings. But why would they be showing an interest in us? Why wouldn't they either simply ignore us or else make their presence known?

Full Description & Details

November 1-6, (can't remember exact day) 2003, 5:06am, totally dark outside Standing out in front of our apartment, a light appeared in the sky, slowly moving north. At first I thought it was a satellite - except that it was moving too slow. Then it stopped. It hovered for a few seconds, then began to reverse course. Then it vanished by simply blinking out. I went into the house and called the airport - which is less than two miles away - to see if they had spotted anything on their radar. Phone call was routed to the police department. I described what I had seen, and was told they would check with the airport and would call me back either way. I went back outside and watched the sky for a few minutes. There was a bright flash, the object re-appeared, then shot straight up - briefly trailing a bright, white line behind it - like a bright chalkmark in the sky, straight up. I called the police and told them that the object had returned, and less than thirty seconds later 3 North Bend Police cars roared up the street. Together with the three police officers, we watched the sky for about 10 minutes before the object appeared where I had originally spotted it. Completely silent, it slowly traveled away in a northwest direction and we watched it until we couldn't see it anymore. I don't know if this was ever reported to our local newspapers, or what the officers may have written in their reports. I have not been contacted by anyone regarding this, and have not seen the object again.

Full Description & Details

Part One: Since November 16th, 2003 when I looked up in the sky on a clear clear night, and immediately noticed a BRIGHT bluish-white "star" in the south eastern sky that all of a sudden appeared to be moving around, my life has not been the same. I have watched that same "star" many nights now. It appears to be flashing many bluish-white lights back and fourth from left to right, also I see a red light that just blinks now & then on the extreme left side. Some times I think I see beams of light passing through the night sky like a search light, comming from that same "star" Now, this was looking with the naked eye. Aside from the blinking lights, etc. this star would suddenly start moving around, kinda like a germ under a microscope. Short jerky movements in all directions. This object doesn't wonder far from it's origional location, but none the less, it IS wondering. Since I was only looking with my own eyes, nothing was real clear of what I was seeing, I mean like 1 object or 3. Or details like that. I went on a mission to get a telescope or at least good bionocs. Part two: Well, about two weeks ago, I went to my boyfriends neighbor whose about 70 yrs. and asked him to stargaze with me at 10:30 PM. He had that lazer surg. on his eyes and can see really well at a distance. So, him and I sat on his steps and I pointed to "my star" and asked him to watch it and tell me what he sees, if anything. Within 1 min. he said, "somthing up there sure is be-boppin' around the sky" Of course, I already knew that and he confirmed it. Part three: I borrowed a really good pair of binocs. last night, and setout for the back portion of my property where it is the darkest. I rested the b.'s on a shelf at eye level to be sure I wouldn't nove them in amy way. My "star" was really bright. I looked thru the b's for approx. 15 min. and I was not prepared for what I was about to see!!!!!!!! Well, yeah there's blinking lights alright and from what I could see there was indeed the star itself, but I didn't see anything blinking now. I sat still & watched. Then I saw flashing lights comming out from BEHIND the star, that got brighter & brighter and the beams shot out further and further into the sky. Suddenly, I see a craft of solid white light come out from behind the star and slide all the wah around and park at the side of the star. The blinking lights die way down, but I see this little white object slowly pull away from the "star" and cut across the sky diagionally for a long ways. Then I watched as it came straight back, flew around in a few circles as a hawk circles his next victim, then I watched it go around the other side of this star and then behind it completely, out of my view all together. Well, I swear this is true and I'll quit now cuz this is really long as it is. Thanks& I welcome anyone to contact me at cfrancis73@excite.com if you've seen any one of the things that I have seen. Until next time...

Full Description & Details

I woke up at 5:50AM like I do every morning from my alarm clock to wake my daughter to get ready for school. After I get her into the shower, I always go out onto my balcony to have a cigarette and while looking into the sky near some condo buildings looking south I saw a huge, reddish fireball that did not move and just stayed in the same place for a minute or two. As I watched this thing it all of a sudden turned into a white, tiny dot. The white dot moved very slowly without making a sound to the right until I could not longer see it. Never seen anything like that before, although I did see a ufo in January 1999, it was so huge, did not make a sound. Surprised I never seen anything on the news about either sighting.

Full Description & Details

Myself and two friends were riding our bicycles down third ave, ajacent to the rail road tracke in Coraopolis Pennsylvania, about 8 miles outside of Pittsburgh. It was the fall of the year, and after dark. My friend and his younger brother were riding together on one bike just a few feet in front of me while I was riding mine. We had just crossed an intersection and were continuing on third ave when my firend said, "look, what's that." I looked to where he was indicating which was the very next intersection about 100 to 150 yards. And just where the intersecting street crossed over the rail road tracks, there was a perfectly globe shaped glowing object hovering motionless about 30' above the tracks. At that point we decided to get a closer look at this strange site. We started to pedal as fast as we could to get closer to the object. When we were about 40' or so from the object, it started to rise straight into the air(slowly), perhaps twich the height of a three story bulding. Then it jetted quickly off in the direction of the library which I believe to be a south westerly direction. I don't remember the object making any sound at all. It dissappeared beyond the horizon in just a second or two.

There are a couple of strange circumstances concerning this event. One is, when I recall that night, I remember clearly the moment I was first aware of the object and I also remember clearly when we were just about 40' feet away. But, there seems to be a blank spot in my memory from the time when the object was first notice and we tried to get closer until we were about 40' away and we watched it dissappear.

Several years afterwards, my friend, tha older brother of the two on the bicycle died of unrelated causes and I don't remember ever discussing what we had seen.

Then many years later, I ask the younger brother if he remembered the event and he said that he did not. Then about two years later, asked him again about that night and he remembered. But there was a difference in our versions. He remembered it taking place about a half mile further down third ave than where I remembered it taking place.

I'm resonably sure that my version is correct because of the Coraopolis Library.

It was a clear summer night and a friend and I were standing in our friends back yard. We were just standing there, not talking, when all of the sudden we both look up in the sky and see what looked like an airplane...a few seconds later this "airplane" split into two seporate objects, and both objects went in different directions. My friend and I were in awe and when our two other friends came back we told them about what had happened, but they had believed it to be too farfetched to be true.
