It was a rounded, pyramid shape and about 6-8 ft in width. maybe 5 ft high. There was no noise, no smoke or any signs of wings or anything that would help it fly. it was dark silver against the blue sky, maybe because it was reflecting the brush underneath. I cant say for sure if the bottom was flat or not, just that it appeared smaller at the top, no sharp edges, and appeared to rotate because of the pattern in which it "changed shape" it was not disk or cigar shaped.

Rural, lots of chest high brush that dotted the landscape, but enough room between bushes to walk thru. It was on MCB Camp Pendleton. It happened off the designated trail that the training was taking place on. There was no clear path to where we seen the object. Very unwalkable area.

Myself and about 40 other Marines in my platoon, including seasoned staff sergeants and sergeants, witnessed a small "rounded pyramid shaped" UFO about 80-100 feet from us, take off very slowly from some brush. The small brush wasn't everywhere but it did hide the UFO so that we didn't notice it until it took off. I say that because we were facing in that direction for a good 20 minutes before it lifted off. It was very sunny out with zero cloud cover and our platoon was sitting in a set of bleachers that faced in the direction of the ufo, and that is how i am sure that everyone had saw it. Also because everyone was like "O.M.G look at that thing!" The sergeants and staff sergeants, who were instructing this class session, faced us, so their backs were to the object. When they saw us pointing and talking they looked back and also said "what is that?" Although they were a lot more composed than we were. Although i personally never saw it as it was sitting on the ground, it caught our attention as it popped up from behind the brush and it was moving very slowly. There was a slight wind, but this thing ascended in a back and forth swaying motion, unaffected by it. It appeared to change shape but then I realized it was rotating, which made it appear to change shape. To me, it looked dark silver when it got past the horizon and only the blue sky was in the background. There was no noise that i could hear and there was no smoke or anything else. Perhaps it was a kite, i thought and i deliberately looked for someone holding the string. Nobody, was out there because and it didn't make any sense to be that far off the trail. We weren't allowed to have cameras out in the field but everyone sneaks them out. I had mine in my pocket but because of where i was sitting i was afraid of getting caught if i took a picture. perhaps someone else got a pic of it. This whole process took about a minute and a half until the object was out of sight. As i said before, it swayed back and forth as it went up, but also steadily got further and further form us. Afterwards, I asked the sergeant giving the class, what it was, and all he did was laugh and say something like "oh, that is a just a charge in the air that happens because there is an apple juice factory down the road a ways, and it gives off electricity in the air, it happens sometimes." For the rest of the night everyone in my platoon was asking if anyone got a picture of the object and we talked about it all night asking what it could have been. The senior marines refused to comment on it.

no, initially i thought a balloon, but nobody holding a string and it was going back and forth against the wind and didn't always move at the same slow speed and sometimes it swayed further to one side than it did to that side before.

I am opened minded about the possibility of UFO's being real. I am not very religious nor spiritual. Before the incident I never really watched or read up on UFO's as i do now. simply because I cannot explain what i saw, i want answers. I just watched an episode of "UFO FILES: alien encounters", and the depiction of one of the UFO's that had landed in a farmers pasture moved exactly like what i saw in my sighting, and i thought it worth trying again to tell my story because i feel the way the object moved was very strange and deliberate.

The possibility of reaching and contacting the other people that were there that day wouldn't be hard at all. I feel this is worth looking into. I am reminded of this incident every time I see a show about UFO's and I feel I haven't forgotten or distorted any of the details of the incident because the memory has always been fresh in my mind. I would have reported this incident much much sooner but the demands of the military never let me sit down and find whom to report it to. Also, I never had the slightest clue on whom to contact, but this incident needs to be documented as having really happened.

It was round like a saucer thin toward edges thickening toward its hub. No light seen out of it as it was a bright sunny day. It was of very bright silver color.

As I told, it was about 2 Kilometers far from me at a low altitude of maximum 100 meters. It was a round object looked to be 60" wide and about 20" tall. Its actual size as I presume must be 45' wide and about 15' tall.

The area was mostly desert, with a few cultivated fields with very rare scattered houses. The nearest town was about 20 Kilometers away from the site. The plan at which the object was traversing was totally barren. There was no military base or strategic location in the vicinity. A river flows at about 50 Kilo meters from the flight plan of the object.

In July 1970, while I was a student of class 9, I was at desert form of my uncle to spend my summer vacations. This form was far from the town with only two small houses there. One hot summer noon, I was alone lying on a cot, reading a book under a tree. An extremely low hum drew my attention to look to. At about 2 Kilometers distance, I saw a strange silver saucer in the air, spinning and traversing along the surface of earth at an altitude of about 100 meters. While understanding nothing, I kept on staring at it while it kept traversing at same altitude at a speed of about 100 Kilo meters an hour and gradually disappeared after about 30 seconds. At that time I had no idea about UFOs. A few years later, when I studied about UFOs, I recalled that sighting and understood that it was certainly a UFO.

The tubes reminded me of water, they were not swirling, they wiggled almost. I lived in Florida for several years and had seen water spouts up close, and this was nothing like a water spout. The base that touched the highway stayed in place, it was only as it went further up in the sky did it seem to move or bend in the wind, though the air was still at ground level. You could see through them, but could still see the shape, reminded me of Wonder Woman's invisible jet in the 70's television series.

The bases looked like they could surround a mid sized sedan. so the diameter of the base was round and about 14 feet across. As for how long they were, I have no clue, I could not see where they stopped, they didn't seem to be connected to any object I could see with the naked eye in the sky above us.

The area is more of a suburban area. No houses close to the road in that area, just a car dealership I believe. The only big things near this area were a AAA baseball stadium to the east of the highway and an amusement park to the north west. There is a river in that area, but about 5 miles south of the location where I saw the objects

I had to work on Saturdays once a month for a company in Fort Mill, SC. I had to be at work by 8 AM so I was traveling north bound on highway I-77 from Rock Hill, SC to Fort Mill, SC at approximately 7:30 AM. There were no cars in the south bound lanes, there was only one other car going north bound besides my car. The other car was about 1/4 mile ahead of me riding in the passing lane, my car was in the slow lane. On a stretch between exit's 85 and 88 the car ahead of me slowed down, at the same time I noticed three large clear tube like objects drop down from the sky and almost lock onto the highway spot where they landed. The car in front of me slowed to a stop and I pulled up next to him and stopped as well. We both sat there with mouths open wide. The part of the "tubes" that did not touch the highway wiggled slightly, you could not see where they ended in the sky. The weather was warm and clear and it being summer the sun had already risen and the sky was quite light, no clouds. After about 1 minute of the "tubes" being on the ground, the two tubes that were furthest away from us lifted and disappeared into the sky, several seconds later the last tube closest to our cars lifted and was gone as well. The other driver turned to me, he was male, approximately 30 years old. He said "Did you just see that?" I responded "Yeah, what the hell do you think that way?" Neither one of us had any explanation and so didn't answer. After about 1 more stunned minute, we both proceded to drive again.

The only thing I could think of would be a water spout. But it looked nothing like a water spout, other than looking kind of fluid looking.

I don't really believe in UFO's even now. I do watch some shows about them, but I don't know that much and a lot of what I have seen I don't really believe. In fact I discounted this story and never really shared it with anyone until today because I was traveling the same route at the same time, similar weather etc. and it reminded me of the instance. I could not see the shape of the objects because of the darkness in the sky but they were probably oblong, like a cigar, or saucer-shaped with us having seen the side view of the saucer. The configuration of the three lights brought me to this conclusion about the shape of the object.

On Sunday evening, March 18, 2012 at about 10PM I was on my patio and noticed an unusually bright light in the northern sky and a light of lesser brightness further north in the northern sky. I looked at both for a while, maybe 5 or 10 minutes, and noticed that they were not moving at all. I observed this from Estero, FL and determined that the two lights were approximately over the city of Ft Myers, FL or perhaps a bit further north than that. The sky was clear with no cloud cover. I called my wife to come and see the two lights and she also noticed that they did not move in any direction. During this time, several airplanes heading to the SW Florida International Airport passed under thee two lights so you could tell that these lights were not aircraft of any kind known to either of us. After about 20 minutes of watching the two lights/objects I got my powerful binoculars and took a closer look. Upon closer observation I noticed that there were actually three bright lights side by side in a horizontal configuration without any light beam. Surrounding the three bright lights was an aura or reflection with refracted light, like a rainbow, but I could not see what shape the object that supported the three lights might have been. The other object of lesser brightness turned out to be the same, having three lights side by side in a horizontal configuration with the rainbow-like aura, only dimmer because it appeared further north and was more distant visually. So there were two similar objects in the northern night sky separated from each other by many miles, not moving in any direction and making no sound at all. By all appearances the two lights were about 10,000 feet above the ground or perhaps a bit more. I also determined that the size of each object was about 75 - 100 feet in length or diameter and was about half the size of my small fingernail if I extended my arm fully. We continued to watch with the binoculars for another 15 or 20 minutes with no changes that were obvious to us. Then gradually the two objects moved slowly north and eventually disappeared from view. That was it. There was no more to the sighting. The time was then about 10:45 or 10:50PM.

Other facts you may wish to include:: We were traveling north to San Francisco. Coming down the grapevine from LA we encountered pea soup fog but kept going slow because of drinking a lot of coffee, wanting to get to San Rafael on Thursday before Grateful Dead Halloween shows (Marin County civic center). Just about every other vehicle had pulled off because of dense fog.

We finally came out of the fog and I was remarking how the sky was so clear, stars bright like in the desert when Janis asked "what are the weird colors off in the distance?". I was just joking, playing with stereo and stated it was a flying saucer. It looked like it had landed on little landing feet West, SW, some distance away in fields. Well, I joked it was a UFO and maybe only less than a second later, as if it knew what we were discussing, Janis started going "don't look now it's right behind us!!!!!" it was following (pacing) just behind to the left of my car, then pulled right up alongside, (Janis going 'I TOLD YOU NOT TO LOOK!!), started doing every most outrageous seemingly impossible flying stunts you can imagine, including circular flips, just showing off all the stuff it could do, for over 5 minutes. It had a day-glow green color that emanated from it like fibers of light, more bright near what I assume was the metallic object.

It was as close as a lane and a half, or 30 feet the whole time, just off the ground barely, so close it made all the hairs on my body stand straight out, like from static electricity. We were going "oh, sh*t" and stuff like that when it took off like a slingshot, disappearing in horizon to left of very straight road goes all the way north. Well, we were discussing it at length, saying I never imagined one like that could truly be until we saw it like 30 feet away. I think it was about the size of one and a half Lincoln continentals, round, saucer shaped, domed, we both think it may have had some portholes. We were wondering how on earth it could do somersaults and stuff like that, when it came back, a little more higher, flying (facing from underneath sort of) us from directly ahead for a minute or so, we were going "whoa..." again, when I think something came on or opened underneath it, only time it made any noise, and started the bright spotlight on my car, which had of all things, a bumper sticker that said : "STARSHIP" on the front (for rock band Jefferson Starship). Well, it made a noise like a hatch opened, then the white light started, with a vzzzzzzzzzzz sound that got louder until it was as bright or brighter than sunlight, like a spotlight on my car, pacing ahead (little higher this time, yes) until it got to it's full brightness and loudness, by then going VVVVVAAZZZZZZZZZ, when I seized the opportunity to tell her to wave at it as a friendly gesture, as now it had given me a feeling of inner peace, knowing there must be life elsewhere, then it made a Kkuh sound, and the buzzing noise subsided at the same time the light dimmed, I think I heard a hatch close, then it repeated the taking off like a slingshot again, just to left of road, then took off in the horizon, a little more left (didn't need a road).

Well, we were feeling a bit too overcome to stop at the windmill truck stop as we came up on it, but called ok, time out, and pulled it off in the rest area just past windmill a ways. We were feeling a bit weirded-out, when some French guy I swear looked kike Marcelle Truffaut or something right out of the movie close encounters, just like the saucer, comes running up frantically waving his arms, hollering something about a "phenomena fantastique!!!!!", just gave him a weird look, like, yeah, we saw something like that back there. Yes, I think it was Thursday morn' way early then, just before Halloween of '83, so we kept going north, starting to feel a bit haggard. Going back after visiting friends in Mendocino, we tried to tell where we first saw it, just past the fog, well south of the air base, and realized there was nothing there for maybe over a hundred miles or more except some cattle, they were making colored lights of all colors for some cattle?? Well, I shrugged it off as just an 'ornry cattle saucer' but looked up much researching over the years to this day to see who else may have seen that saucer, far as I could tell, just her and I and this French guy maybe and maybe 2 or 3 trucks headed south maybe saw it zipping by, don't know. Janis, being a bit of an artist, drew a picture of it with the words "genuine ufo" underneath. I didn't need to have made any photography anyways, as I have a DVD where it is called one of what are known as the "Guardian Saucers" in Vancouver, Canada, I think, where it had all the multi-colors from underneath, yeah, made my skin feel like it wanted crawl when I first saw the video, yeah, like it was just like something we saw, for real. She won't discuss it anymore because she said she had some bad dreams about it. Had some strange dreams myself, except more friendly, and peaceful, seeing all these drawings and video stories about grey extraterrestrials with enlarged heads and large black eyes that stare into a void or something. Now I have a friend Susan, who tried at first to keep changing the subject, but with my ongoing research, she's been saying "Malcolm if I saw something like that I think I would be so SCARED" to which I replied yeah?, I guess if you think it would make you so scared it would, if you think it would make you have bad dreams it would, and yes, as in my case, if you think it would give you a feeling of inner peace, probably WOULD. I know, I had always studied astronomy since I was a youngster so interested in it my family bought me a telescope. I joined the San Francisco amateur astronomers, had always had a more Saganistic approach towards the subject, even though many friends had pointed out "things in the distance" or had even related their own encounters, just thought, sure, sure, bah. Now I wonder, what would Carl Sagan himself had thought if one of those came up and did a lot of aerial acrobatics from like 30 feet away, it's unmistakable. Still have an intense interest in cosmology, even more now although I think many cosmologists views would have or will change after seeing a thing like that from only 30 feet. Some friends may feel my Star Trek stories are more real in their view, I really have nothing to prove and don't care if they like astrophysics, x-files or Rael. I know I had the SETI screensaver for some time. I'd just like to find out if anyone shared our sightings that night other than us, I'd appreciate if you could in exchange for my story email it back to me so I don't have to keep going over it, I will have my official story reported and on file now, special thanks.

UPDATES! May 03, 2006

Thank you very much, I can feel at peace now getting the story off my back, not knowing who to tell. I have the page bookmarked for reference, thanks. Only thing I might add, I felt it had peaceful vibes, because anything that advanced that meant harm could have done anything bad, although I woulden't recommend shooting at them like the air force. I think maybe what was up with the spotlight maybe they were making some kind of video starlog for their mothership maybe. I had thought I could have made some sort of hand signals like pounding my chest and pointing up to show I might like to go with them someday. I can't figure why people refuse to believe our sighting so much, conditioning perhaps, like in trying to suggest it was reflections of the planet Venus or something, I uh sure don't th9ink so. All I can say is if you see one close up like that from 30 feet or so, being so apparently unmistakable, remember I said they are out there for super real, wayn more than anything fictional or imagined. I have the drawing in a storage in Orange Co., if I can ever dig it out someday I'll forward it, I think you all must know the variety of craft though, try freezing shots of the Canadian "Guardian Saucers". round like an oilcan, but the sice of a schoolbus, looked like satelite, but wasn't one, because it travelled at enoumous speed. tentacles all over, but from hard material, straight an dblunt, or even with little outtakes of littler tenacles at the end of the big tentacles (dont know another word for it). the surface of the rounded side was irregular. with it looked like windows or something like that. with glassy or silver like material.

Object stationnary for ten minutes, before vanishing with a quick movement, without being able to tell how fast it went or travelled. it was the size of a big travelling bus, round like a oilcan and flatt on top and bottom; tenacles (steaddy and straight) all over the sides, not on the bottom or top. first i thought it was a satelite, with those ttentacles, but the way it behaved was totally unknown to me as being a satelite that moves. it just slipped away in front of me , i had to look up in the sky with my neck all the way up, so it must have been high in the sky, so the size could be mistaken for. it is a long time ago that i saw this, but nevertheless, it is a picture burned into my mind. it did look to have windows, or at least irregulare surface on the round side. it was mostly black with touches of silver or glassy material. it was on a playing ground of a school, on the basket ball field, so there was no object between me and the sky. the thing in the sky was the only thing in the area. no planes, helicopters of even cars around.

On August 15, 1983 I returned home from work to my residence in Cookstown New Jersey.

Since my girlfriend didn’t have dinner ready, I decided to take my two dogs for a walk. I had already been warned by the New Hanover Police not to walk my dogs through town as they were vicious and I kept them as guard dogs. I chose instead, to walk them through the adjacent property which encompassed a large field and a since shuttered Oil Company. It was very humid this night and the sky was overcast and no stars were visible. I began the walk around the outside perimeter of the property along the wood line, when it became obvious that my dogs were growling at something that was not in my field of vision. Since I had already had trouble with the police and couldn’t see what was upsetting the dogs, I began to walk the dogs away from the wood line to avoid my dogs attacking a person or another animal.

I had then reached the middle of the field, away from the shadow of the wood line and now the dogs became even more aggressive and both dogs were now looking “up” in the same direction. It took a moment for my eyes to adjust, but then I saw it. A massive triangular object sitting motionless in the air above us. The object was horizontal in the air above me, with the point of the triangle at the top and the wingspan below that. The air reeked of ozone, which really surprised me as I didn’t see any sign of lightning the entire ride home from work, or since I had arrived home. Looking at the object, I had a strong feeling that there was something very unnatural before me; it was as if this object was not entirely there before me, only a “portion” and another “portion” was somewhere else. It was as if a hole or window had been punched into the air above me, reeking of ozone and the object was within this “hole”.

I tried to make sense in my mind to what I was watching, and tried to dismiss this object as a classified aircraft since the Main Gate of Maguire Air Force Base was about 1 ½ miles away. I then began to wonder why the Air Force would test such a Top Secret Aircraft in a residential area away from the base. Nothing made sense at all, especially a craft that obviously has mastered gravity. While pondering these thoughts, I decided to calm down and smoke a cigarette. At the instant I struck my lighter, an immense wave of “feeling” hit me, the hair rose on the back of my neck and it was very clear that both my dogs reacted in the same instant as the feeling hit me. The “feeling” I had was unmistakable, it seethed through every part of my being. It was pure contempt, as if I was the intruder! In this instant I knew it was not of human origin and I immediately began walking back to the house and didn’t look back. I had an unshakeable sensation that I had eyes on my back the entire time bringing the dogs home!

Upon turning to leave, I then saw a translucent “tunnel” of spiraling mist on the ground leading into the farthest tree line from me with shapes moving in both directions.

Upon getting back in the house, my girlfriend told me that I had been gone with the dogs for over an hour, of which I thought was maybe (15) minutes tops. At that point I looked at my watch and found it had stopped. During this entire experience, not one car past down the road, nor was there any police or Military presence there the remainder of the night. I have kept this event secret for years, along with the location; however I will give the exact location to MUFON.

Please note, I am more than willing to submit to any battery of polygraph testing, hypnosis and sodium pentothal to validate my statement.

The nearest UFO was a round disc-like, or saucer, shape with rotating bright red, white & blue flashing lights. Very easily seen against the very starry night sky, and appeared to take up a larger portion of the sky. The other two UFO's were a little harder to make out because they appeared further away. Their lights were white.

Size of Object(s)

Relative size for the nearest UFO appeared to be about 12-14 inches across. Actual size would be impossible to determine after this many years. It easily blocked out a small portion of the starry sky. The other two could be blocked by one hand.

Distance to Object(s) & Altitude

My own estimate would be about 1 mile or a little less.

This sighting took place in a densely populated residential area of town. ENT Air Force base was to the north but there was no air strip nearby.. At that time ENT Air Force had only office buildings.

While listening to the radio one evening, I noticed neighbors next door standing in the driveway, looking up & pointing to the sky. I joined them for the most exciting event I ever saw in my 72 year lifetime.

There were 3 UFO's darting back & forth, very fast, in the sky (We still don't have anything that moves that fast, even today in 2012). One came quite close, hovering in one spot and flashing red, white & blue lights around the outside edge of the saucer-shaped ship (not much different than what was seen in the movie UFO's, except there was no particular sequence). This went on for some time before it rejoined the other 2 UFO's in their fast "dance" around the sky. If my memory serves my correctly, they all used only white lights, except for the one who put on the show for us. The UFO's disappeared in a "blink of an eye" shortly after that. I use that expression because that is the best description of just how fast they disappeared.

I figure most of the Colorado Springs residents must have been watching that show put on by the UFO's. Unfortunately, I failed to take a picture or save anything the newspapers might have reported about this incident. I regreat that to this day, but I will forever remember that night in August 1956.

In no way could this sighting be anything but UFO's due to the size and speed of those ships. We had nothing that rivaled that UFO at that time, 1956, nor do I think we have anything like that in existance now, in 2012.

There has to many others who have reported this particular sighting in Colorado Springs, especially since it was also covered by one, or more, radio stations. I've always felt that our government has kept this under cover all these years.

It was late Sept. 1962 and a series of sightings were reported including documented ones in Haledon, Oradell and Hawthorne NJ. My friends and I were hanging out on a corner on Market St. Paterson NJ. Off in the distance we saw a silver saucer that move up down and sideways in an instant. It then had flames shooting from it. Another friend who was in the area under the craft came by and said he saw what appeared to be hieroglyphics flashing on the underside of the craft.

We got in a car and drove a short distance to the top of what's called Sandy Hill which sits higher than all the surrounding area. Elementary school # 15 sits on top of the hill. We waited and within a short time the craft glided directly over our heads. It made no sound , was clearly of metallic construction and about forty feet across the bottom. a series of colored lights rotated around the bottom,

After a few days the paper reported that it was an advertisement being pulled by an airplane, a ridiculous coverup report. Although it was one of many during that month, I've never seen this specific sighting reported.

This encounter changed me in a very fundamental way and made me realize we are not alone nor are humans the most advanced beings in the universe. To this day I wonder if these crafts travel long distances or just between dimensions. Are they always here and usually not visible. I wonder why they never seem to land in a populated area during regular busy times and make contact.

Upside down pudding bowl over a thick bread and butter plate. The plate had alternating flashing square? lights on its rim i.e. blue, red, yellow, blue, red, yellow, etc. Very very bright. No noise whatsoever.

Two large saucer-shaped crafts with still, bright yellow lights, sitting completely still, and many, many smaller saucer shaped craft with flickering blue/green, yellow and red lights. Constantly moving, some slow, some fast, seemed to skimmer over land and buildings on the north-west side of Melbourne around 10pm onwards. Then suddenly when the yellow lit craft moved, the other smaller crafts followed. There were also other craft sitting completely still over the north of Melbourne, seeming to be "on guard" while the other craft researched and skimmered over land.

Absolutely not!! Too fast, too sophisticated and far too many in the sky. They seemed to be very curious, sweeping the landscape slowly then quickly moving away when done while other craft stood "on guard".
