In broad daylight, at about 14.00 (CET) I saw five circular objects in a clear sunny sky, as I was standing on a city square in Amsterdam. The objects were coming from the north, from behind the houses, one by one at half minute to one-minute intervals. They were all of the same appearance:

- about one euro-cent coin held at arm's length in size;

- circular;

- bright white in color, but the light was not star-like i.e. there were no beams of light coming out of the circular shape. all light was perfectly contained within the circle. the best way to describe it would be to say that the light was COHERENT;

- a bright golden, saw toothed ring around the object. this bright golden light was again contained completely within the saw toothed shape of the ring;

- four object out of five sighted, were flying at relatively low apparent speed (approximately that of a passenger jet at cruising speed as observed from the ground). they were zigzagging along a straight line. the motion was jerky i.e. they made a very brief, barely noticeable stop at each point of their zigzag trajectory;

- one object, the third in order of appearance, flew very fast across the sky, ten or more times faster than the rest;

- there was a jet trail extending across the sky and nearly perpendicular to the object's direction of flight. the objects were clearly flying ABOVE that trail i.e. they flew higher than a passenger jet at cruising height (cca 33.000 ft).

- they all dissapeared in a distance, befor reaching the horizon, instead of going behind the horizon, which again sugests a very high altitude.

What strikes me the most about these three sightings is their grouping: I have never seen UFOs before, or since, although I have a long lasting interest in the subject, and I had been a keen amateur astronomer for a number of years as well. And then I had three incredible sightings within three weeks!

The same location.

This time they came in from the zenith portion of the sky, from behind the roof of the building that I live in. They were flying direction east/ northeast. In the midst of what was a VERY FAST flight, without stopping or slowing down, the objects "flipped" and changed the flight formation from flying parallel to each other, to flying behind each other. They definitely DID NOT change formation by rotating about a common axis; i.e. their maneuvers were synchronized, but independent.

Apart from their color, shape and speed, another thing they had in common with the objects sighted on August 31, is the distinct impression that there was a net like structure to them. The sightings were admittedly to short to be certain about this kind of detail, and it was only after this second sighting that I decided it is relevant to mention.

After performing the described maneuver and changing the flight formation, the objects apparently disappeared from view; they blinked out as if they were lit from within, and somebody has switched off the lights.

August 31, 1997 at about 21.40 hours (CET), as I was standing on the balcony of my apartment, two objects suddenly appeared in my view. They were about 20 degrees above the horizon (east/ southeast) when I noticed them. The objects were pale yellow in color, and eye shaped. I also had an IMPRESSION that there was a net like structure over the surface of the objects. They flew in a formation, tip to tip, about one object length from each other. They were very fast: I could see a large portion of the sky, from the eastern horizon to the zenith; they flew from the point at which I noticed them, to the zenith, where they disappeared from my sight, in about 2,5 seconds or less.

I have a long lasting interest in the subject going back 30 years. At the present, I'm mainly interested in projects related to educating the public on the subject of UFOs.

Personally, I believe UFOs to be of an intelligent (other than human) origin, although not necessarily extraterrestrial. In fact, the core UFO phenomenon is most likely to be more complex than that.

I moved to the Hudson Valley in 1991 and over the years have seen several objects in the sky at night and once during the day. Several is an understatement, so I'm only going to write about the most interesting sightings I have seen. I will say right away that I have not seen the "football field" sized "boomerang" that many other Hudson Valley residents have seen. Yet.

I have never written down dates of sightings which I believe to be UFO's because I doubted that anyone would believe me if I told them what I'd seen. I didn't want people (this is a small town) to think I was some kind of a crazy nut. I am always alone when I sight something and on the rare occasion when someone is with me they don't see what I do.

In January, probably 1995 or 1996 I was in Accord, NY at a friends house for dinner. Many guests had had several drinks by the time my husband and I arrived. I had not had any alcohol. No fire was burning in the fireplace and nobody but me seemed interested in having a fire although it was about 5 degrees below zero that night. I offered to fetch wood from a shed about 30 yards from the house. It was a clear, moonless night and as I walked back through the snow with the wood I stopped to look up at the sky. I saw what looked like an ordinary plane and watched because my family was leaving for a vacation to Puerto Rico in two weeks and I was wondering where the plane was going and how I wished that I was already on a plane to a warmer climate. The plane seemed to be flying pretty high up and I thought that it must have been an international flight. Stewart Airport is only 40 miles from Accord and usually planes landing at either Stewart or Albany are flying fairly low when they fly over this area.

The "plane" was moving along towards me in a straight line and all I saw was a single red light in front. Suddenly, the plane came to a complete stop. I thought to myself, "how can an airplane come to a complete stop like that?) After what was probably only a few seconds, the (I'll call it an object now") object reversed it's forward flight in a perfectly straight line only this time it was hurtling along so fast I could hardly believe what I was seeing. It kept going at some kind of incredibley high speed from where it had come from and then again it stopped. This time it was far enough away that it appeared only to be a small red light in the sky. Then it vanished. It just went out.

Following are 3 other accounts of UFO's that I have seen, all of them in my back yard. I live on a 350 acre farm and our nearest neighbor lives more than half a mile away. We have no light interference from homes, cars, roads, cities, etc.

I have never kept the dates of these sightings because I as always alone and firmly believed that no one would believe me if I told them what I had seen.

Most recently, in October of 2003 I was sitting on my back porch talking to friend on my portable phone when I saw several red lights approach from the South East. I was looking at my own property which I am very familiar with. A steep ravine leads up to a huge open field in the direction I was looking. No homes exist on the other side of this field and I had never seen lights of any kind in that area. The ravine itself would prevent one from seeing any kind of light on the other side of the field even if one existed - which it doesn't. The object I saw stunned me enought that in mid-conversation I said to my friend "I can't believe what I'm seeing". I described what I saw to my friend as I watched no less than 5 and probably no more than 7 red lights which appeared to be unconnected to one another. It looked like a circular formation with the lights in the front being brighter and then curving backwards away from me. I heard no sound whatsoever and the ojbects then descended onto what I imagine must have been the big field. Then they went out and I saw nothing more. My dogs however, being barking madly and running towards the lights - there's a stream separating the ravine from where my home is - and they ran right across the stream barking like mad. My friend could hear the dogs barking. After the lights disappeared I thought, well, I must have imagined that. I continued the conversation with my friend after saying something like "well that was weird". We kept talking for about 10 more minutes when all of a sudden the same light formation re-appeared and slowly lifted up and slowly returned from the direction from where it had come. The dogs had stopped barking and returned to my back yard while these lights were out. As soon as the lights came on again, the dogs went wild again and chased the lights. I was still on the phone and said "Oh my God, the lights I saw before are back but now it looks like they're leaving". I guess my friend thought I was imagining it because we hung up shortly after that. My parents were visiting at the time and when I went inside all they wanted to know was why the dogs were barking so much. I told them what I'd seen and was told that the dogs must have seen or smelled deer. We have deer around our house every day and the dogs (two labradors) never bark that loudly or chase deer so fast even in broad daylight.

The second interesting thing I saw was 2 summers ago, again in 2002. It was a clear blue sky and I'd been jumping on my kids trampoline when I decided to just lie down and soak up some sun and stare at the clear sky. I had just laid down when I saw a silver disc shaped object rocket past me overhead. I heard no noise and this thing was moving way to fast to be a plane. I've seen the Space Shuttle and International Space Station fly over our home at night and they move pretty fast, but this object was astonishing. I was trying to follow with my eyes what I'd seen and where it had gone but it disappeared too fast. About 3 seconds later an identical disc shaped silver object flew over as fast as the first one had. No sonic boom, no airplane noise. It just shot right over me so fast I couldn't believe it.

The most interesting thing I saw does not resemble, in any of the literature that I've read anyway, any kind of traditional UFO - if there is such a word for UFO. This object was directly overhead and it was about 7:30 pm about 3 years ago, probably October. It was a new moon that night. Again, I was alone so there was no one else there to confirm what I'd seen. This object was shaped like a box (like the Borg thing in Star Trek). I could clearly see that it was some kind of metallic thing and again it made no sound. It was huge. I don't know why I wasn't frightened, but I wasn't and kept watching. It had geometric light patterns that had an ethereal sort of glow to them and the lights moved around the surface of the ship in a very straight and seemingly organized way. There were five colors: red, green, blue and white and yellow. This object floated towards the field above the ravine that I mentioned earlier.

The next day I went down to my mother in law's house which is, as the crow flies, about 1/4 of a mile from my home and is situated in the direction which the object I saw was headed. My mother in law has severe eyesight loss from an eye disease called Macular Degeneration. She asked me if I would look at her calendar because she said "I thought that there was no moon last night but I could have sworn that I saw a full moon when I looked in the direction of your house". I believe she saw the same object that I did.

After the incident with the lights that seemed to land in the field while I was on the phone last Fall I have had increasing intense and vivid dreams. I dream to the point of exhaustion and often cannot recall when I wake up whether or not I dreamed something or it really happened. My dreams almost always have a "premonition" factor to them now. Whatever I dream the night before, the next day I either meet the pesron I dreamed about or something happens to me that was part of the dream.

I have no recollection of ever having been abducted nor am I aware of any missing time in my life.

I just wish I knew why I see these strange things whenever I'm alone and why my dreams have become so pronounced and realistic and often come true the next day.

The only other interesting thing might be that 3 or 4 times a year I discover a perfectly round bruise mark on the inner side of my right upper arm. When I apply pressure to this bruise I feel no pain, but it's a strange place to get a perfectly round bruise that doesn't hurt and which I usually only notice when I'm in shower.

My husband recently found an opaque lens in the woods by our house. I held it up to my eye but could not see through even though it looked like it might have fallen out of a pair of sunglassed. When I held it up to my eye and looked in mirror, it looked exactly like the huge eyes I've seen depicted by people who have described "the grays" eyes. It was completely smooth on all the edges - perfectly smooth, but really too large for an ordinary pair of sunglasses. There were striations on the part of the lens that when positioned the way I had looked like they would have been connected to the nose area of the face. But there was no breakage on this object. My husband threw it in the garbage much to my chagrin but he completely wants me to get the "there are aliens out there" idea out of my head.

Well, I could go on and on, because I've seen more than what I've describe here but it would take me too long to tell everything. The only other thing I want to mention is that I'm a pretty good amatuer photographer and have taking some interesting photos at night. The only time I tried to photograph a UFO my film came back blank (black and blank - no stars or anything).

It is my firm belief that aliens have not only visited Earth but perhaps reside amongst us. People who believe that humans are the only intelligent life forms in the Universe clearly have no concept of the size of the Universe. Humans recognize "life" only as we know it in our own biological definition of it. Intelligent life, particularly intelligent life that exceeds our own, is something we probably would not recognize. Does and ant look up at a human before it is stepped upon and think, oh there's a human?

Went out in yard as usual to have a smoke before bed around 9:45pm eastern time on 4/17/2004. I looking in sky at stars and planets and saw a very black object (which I have made an animation of) that was triangular in shape, with the point away from me. The wide end seemed to have a rectangular shape, as if a triangle had a rectangle on its base. It did not appear to move the entire time I observed it.

It dissappeared in a few seconds as if it was wiped away from the pointed end toward the wide end, while remaining stationary. There was no light or sound I could discern coming from its direction, which was approximately 280-290 degrees from 0 degrees magnetic North. The observation point was approximately between the Florence Airport and the Shaw Airbase at the south west side of Florence, SC. The sighting was parallel to air traffic landing and take-off patterns of the Florence Airport for its E-W runway.

I thought I just imagined seeing it for a while, but then I never saw anything quite like that before, with such a definite shape. That made me think that I had actually saw something, if only for a few seconds. As a side note: a church about a mile in that direction had been using a searchlight array as a beacon the last two weeks prior to this sighting, however it was not in operation at thate time of this sighting.

I have not seen anything similar since this sighting.

.. lights that were up out of our atmosphere looked like they were actually playing together or something.. these objects would be going uber-fast, side by side, then criss cross and go back to normal .. (parallel)... We had a non believer on us with this trip, and this was nothing like they had ever seen before - and of course they couldnt find any kind of explaination for these things way out in space that are moving at incomprehensible speeds... very crazy... and reaffirming for me!! RESIDENTS of northern Iran have reported a string of Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) moving at low altitudes and emitting different colours, the state news agency IRNA reported today.

A resident of the northwestern city of Tabriz, Saina Haghkish, was quoted as saying she saw one object flashing red, green and blue moving slowly from the east to west late yesterday.

Identical sightings were also reported on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday over the northeastern town of Ghonbad-Kavous, situated on the opposite southeastern edge of the Caspian Sea.

But astronomy professor Ajab Shirizadeh told IRNA that while the presence over the Islamic republic of extra-planetary craft could not be ruled out, the sightings could also be attributed to spy or communications satellites.

On the date aforementioned 12 of us saw an intensely bright shield-like object swoop down from the heavens against a brilliant blue sky. It then seemed to slow significantly and seemed to hover at the far end of Caversham airfield whilst we were looking at three gliders.....actuallly sailplanes which were thermalling in rather weak thermals and slowly gaining height. All of us, bar one person were astounded by what we saw. I had never heard of flying saucers at 16 years of age. One of the viewers was a very experienced Second World War Spitfire-pilot and a top glider pilot as well. He seemed to take it quite calmly and later explained that when he became a bomber pilot and did sorties over Germany they occasionally saw "Foo-fighters " which flew around their bombers {Lancasters} and many of these "Foo-fighteres" were shield-like and ranged in apparent size from some 2 feet in diameter up to approximately 12 to 14 feet.

This discoid or shield-like object then slowly flew over us and to the far end of the airfield quite slowly and made a slow-speed skipping motion much like a stone skipping on water. The most amazing thing then happened. The discoid craft seemed to grow even brighter than before. Now with hind-sight it was as if it was drawing on even more power and seemed to be surrounded by a huge corona of electrical plasma or force-field. Then it shot heaven-wards at a terrific speed in several seconds and disappeared. I was visibly shocked and several of the crowd said upon looking at me "You've gone quite pale Rich!" That's the most amazing sight I have ever seen and that sighting will live with me always.

I believe that countless worlds could be occupied by Sentinent creatures some of which could easily be far advenced in Science and able to travel great distances and at speeds far greater than the speed of light. Remember those old addages........One should not wash more than once a week or your bones will go soft.....Man can not travel faster than a galloping horse or the man will die......Man cannot travel faster than the speed of sound or he will die. All these beliefs have proven to be wrong. Man will be able to travel far faster than light when he learns how to use the vast electromagnetic currents that permeate so much of space. It is these currents that the Flying-saucers and gigantic Mother-Craft use, and have been using for Eons of time.

Kept noticing a beam of light in the day time flashing around the fields. very rural area at the time. Had a sense that it was something, but didnt know what it was and decided to walk into one of the beams out of curiousity. felt my body go into slow motion, like walking under water. all of a sudden I was standing there and there was all kinds of equipment with flashing panels of light. with the most beautiful men and women I have ever seen. they were working at these panels, and they were dressed in sorta navy blue army like suits.

I stood there and 2 or 3 came towards me, and then I could feel like there was someone coming up from behind me....or I could sense it. They werent talking but I could understand what they were thinking. One in front of me looked up, towards the one behind me and made a remark like "how did we catch her? shes not supposed to be here". then I remember that everything kinda went dark and I was looking up at a light and it seemed as though I was being layed onto this kind of bed with this light up in my eyes. then I was walking out of the light like I just passed through it.

before the beam, I looked up and it was like a 12 O'clock sun, when it was over you noticed it was a 2 or 3 o'clock sun position. felt like only 2 or 3 minutes.

felt like something was different but dont know what it was, mind or body. once in a great while I might see a beam, but I always stay away.

Beam was VERY high up in the air, came completly straight down. It was like a bright yellow beam of sunlight. real slow movement, beam would stay at a few seconds to a couple of minutes.

On the night of Oct.5, 1995, I was riding in the car with my family on the way back from a wedding. We were approximately one and a half miles north of the town of Ankeny, Iowa, heading north on Ne 22nd Ave. It was approximately 10:00pm, and the dark night sky was fully covered with low-lying clouds. My little sister (then age four) was the first to notice the object. She pointed toward the east and yelled “Airplane, airplane!” However, it was no airplane. It was a large, completely stationary, glowing object. It had a main circular disk with two large beams coming straight out from it. Those beams formed a right angle, which opened up and toward the south. Each of the beams was connected to a slightly smaller disk. The main disk also had a long, thin, antenna-like structure attached to it. This structure was located in between the two beams, which formed two 45 degree angles. The main disk also had a hollow glowing circle in its center. This gave the appearance of a raised section, but I am uncertain. The object was directly east of us, at an approximate elevation of 60-70 degrees. It was slightly obscured by clouds, but heavily so. One strange trait was that it appeared to be back-lit, or it had lighting around the side. This gave it a distinct glowing characteristic. Despite its perceived size (I estimated 200-300 meters from edge to edge), it remained perfectly motionless. The clouds that slightly covered it were moving north-south at a rapid pace. This convinced me of the object’s solidity.

As we drove along Ne 22nd, we continued to watch the object. It did not move at all. We then turned west, heading away from the object. We continued to watch it until a hill and some trees obscured the view. When we came back into the line of site (approximately one-two minutes later), the object was gone.

I’m a natural-born skeptic. I don’t believe in ghosts or spirits. I hold all close-encounter reports to be highly suspect. However, I can’t change what I saw. For me, the question remains: what did I see? I have done extensive research. For all my efforts, I can’t find any reports that conform to mine. To my knowledge, all UFO’s that have been sited have been convex in shape. However, the one I saw wasn’t. I would appreciate any help you have to offer in this situation.
