Full Description & Details

From the porch of my home, located on a high ridge in Liberty, KY, my boyfriend and I were watching the dense fog when the fog appeared to divide, forming a cylinder of bright light about three feet in front of us. My friend and I stepped off the porch and approached the beam, both of us attempted to enter the cylinder but as we stepped forward, the beam moved back several feet. We continued to "chase" the beam around the yard but it would not allow us entrance. When we turned away from the beam and walked away, the beam followed us, staying close at our heels. My friend continued to walk around the yard and the beam followed his movements but whenever entry was attempted, the beam moved away a few feet. I was able to peer inside the beam which contained a very bright shutter-like opening deep within the interior. When we stepped back on to the porch we noticed the ground beneath the beam appeared to be bubbling with a thick plasma like substance although no heat was felt. The incident lasted about 10 minutes. The next day I surveyed my yard for evidence but found nothing. The only odd thing noticed was that the water level in my swimming pool had dropped almost a foot.

Update to this report, submitted March 20, 2005:

update on previously reported sighting, recorded on this site on 9/6/04 concerning incident of 08/22/04.

On 9/6/04, I reported observations of a very bright cylinder shaped object that appeared in my yard, and was witnessed by 2 people. Refer to post listed on this site on 9/6/04 from Liberty, KY.

Whether coincidence or not, I believe a follow-up report should be included on this site.

Approximately several days following the reported incident of August 22, 2004, I became very ill. I developed a severe skin rash which spread all over my body and, at the same time, a dime-size lump appeared on my left breast. In addition to these symptoms, I was physically weak and nauseated most of the time. I did not immediately connect these symptoms with the August 22 incident wherein myself and a friend encountered the bright cylinder in my yard. Interestingly, my friend reported to me that within days of our experience, his eyesight seemed to be failing. Alarmed, my friend sought medical attention and he underwent surgery on the optical nerve of his eye.

My symptoms turned out to be breast cancer. I had 2 surgeries and 35 radiation treatments.

Prior to the 8/22/04 incident, both myself and my friend enjoyed reasonably good health. I have never been prone to skin rashes and have always done self breast exams. The lump in my left breast had a sudden onset, and appeared at the same time as the severe skin rash. Although cancer was the diagnosis, none of the 3 physicians I consulted could explain the origin of the rash.

My friend and I stood within inches from the opening of the cylinder and the immense bright light emitting from the beam. We interacted with the "craft" for at least, 10 minutes.

I don't believe there was any deliberate malicious intent by the "beamers" but the almost immediate dire physical effects on both my firiend and myself, may have their origin from this exposure.

It is my hope that our government and our scientists will eventually take these reports seriously and cease downplaying their importance or writing them off as insignificant. The excuse for not doing so, seems to be that no empirical evidence exists to support such encounters and sightings. I argue, that experiential data may lack direct evidence but as subjective as it may be, I believe the growing volume of individuals reporting unexplained phenomena deserve an answer.

Full Description & Details

While driving west bound on the 118 freeway in Chatsworth into Simi Valley I saw a large fireball fly over the San Fernando Valley from the east to west. I was very low and I was sure it was going to hit the mountain where Rocketdyne is located. It didn't crash and I thought I would see Simi Valley on fire after I crested the hill into the valley.

No fire.

The fireball was as big as or a little bigger than a full moon. It was orange around the ball and had a long tail of blue green sparks that twinkled as they blinked out. It was very bright and it lit the inside of my SUV. They were no other cars around me for about a half mile...

This took place in Mid Oct. 1995. I know for sure because a few days later I broke out in a chicken pox’s like rash all over my body that lasted for 4 days and I went to a doctor for a blood test.

A few days after this fireball event there was a bright beam of light shooting high into the sky from the far end of Simi Valley. This beam could be seen from 35 miles away and was much brighter than the spot light on top of the Lexor in Las Vegas.

I saw it from Hollywood as I drove home from work around 10PM.

This beam was blue white and went up maybe five miles and didn't seem to disperse.

Laser like.

As I crested the Simi Hill on the 118 freeway, I could see the whole west end of an area lit up like daylight, so bright I could not make out the surfaces of the mountain sides surrounding the source.

I picked up my friend and we drove to an undeveloped area of Simi Valley about 2 miles from the Reagan Library. There was a line of cars waiting their turns to ask this guy what’s up.

There was a fire road being blocked by a unmarked jeep, no tags, no logos, with an unmarked driver. No badge, no logos, no patches on his jacket. The guy told us it was a movie being filmed. He didn’t know anything about the film or the production company or who hired him. He was wearing a gun.

We left, but on the weekend I went back up there to check it out.

I found a large area of about 50 by 50 square covered by small crystal white rocks.

A large gouge in the fresh dirt and a large burned area and a cows and a horse. There was a sign on a fence surrounding the area that said “No trespassing 24 hour surveillance”. But on the fire road there was a sign that was weird. It has International Security Agency, AMSEC. With the great seal of the USA as the Logo.

Later I looked up AMSEC and found that they were owned by SAIC. SAIC makes spy satellites.

Why would AMSEC/SAIC be guarding grass, dirt a horse and a cow?

There is an SUV far up on a hill with a guy watching me as I video taped the area.

Could these two events be related? A crash site of a UFO? A beacon signal being sent back into space by the craft?

There were no film permits filed at the Simi Valley City Hall.

Other Comments

I have images from the video tape of the crash site. No images from the fireball.

I have tried to find other people who saw the beam of light and I've talked to others who saw a fireball in the same area one year later near Rocketdyne.

Walking down road through marshland to start early shift at work. Sky at high altitude was just starting to change to a dark blue and I could see the traffic going into Heathrow airport also at high altitude as Heathrow is 20 miles west of this location. As I obsrved this and was enjoying the dawn a large triangular object passed across the road just in front of me. I shook my head and looked again and it was still there. It moved as an airship would, slowly and with no noise at all. I would say it was at no more than a few hundred feet. I tried to make out any detail on the underside but this was difficult as it appeared to be matt black and I was also blinded by the bright orange/red lights one on each of the "wings". I did notice that these light where not at the very end of the wings but on the underside. As I watched it vanish into the dark it appeared to be flying in a lazy arc turning south over an area of east London known as Leytonstone.

Neighbor knocked on door yelling come see this thing hovering above the Reynolds aluminum plant down at the end of the block ! Us and several other neighbors watched the ufo 50 feet from us , hovering with lights at the top and windows, we saw a figure waving from the top area, it hovered approx 15-20 minutes shot out at a 45 degree angle and then straight up at an incredible speed! Then after it was gone we discovered it was hovering above a power transformer thing fenced in that was smoking after the ufo left ! No one ever talked about it again on our block.

Full Description & Details

My wife and I had gone to some friends' dinner party in the Heights neighborhood of Houston, TX one afternoon around Memorial Day, if I remember correctly; it's been about 17 years, but it wasn’t yet oppressively hot, so it must have been very early in summer. We were all in the backyard while the food was cooking; around a quarter to six in the evening, one of the guests, who was lying in a hammock behind me called my attention to something in the sky that he'd been observing for some moments.

"What do you think those are?" he asked. I looked up and noticed some very bright orange lights, the color of hot coals when blown upon; they seemed to be round and not extremely large, but it’s hard to estimate their size. There was a light scattering of high cirrus or cirrostratus clouds at the time, and these lights gave the appearance of being well beyond them, so they must have been at a fairly high altitude. As I watched for a few moments, I estimated about 12-15 of these objects; I can't say exactly how many there were because of the amount of time that has passed and because of the fact that some of the objects moved around while others appeared stationary and sometimes some of them were briefly obscured by the cirrus clouds. I quickly called the attention of the other guests to these objects. There were perhaps a dozen of us present at the time and everyone looked up to watch this odd spectacle.

It was quite unlike anything any of us had ever witnessed before. While four of the objects appeared to maintain a steady position the others would suddenly move and stop again just as suddenly. The movements didn't appear to be random but rather to form patterns between the moving objects and with the stationary objects, which themselves formed a sort of quadrangle. The moving objects would sometimes move separately and sometimes by two’s or three’s together; they would form polygonal shapes among themselves, and one vertex of these polygons would itself form a triangle with a side of the stationary quadrangle. The movements would start and stop suddenly without any other evidence of propulsion, such as smoke or vapor trails, etc. The movements themselves appeared very leisurely, but considering the altitude that these objects seemed to be at, the distance covered must have been considerable, as these objects occupied perhaps half of the sky overhead for a good 12-15 minutes. Some of the guests watched them for a few moments and then lost interest, while others of them watched them until they moved off out of sight. Finally about 6:00 pm, the majority of these objects, including the apparently stationary center of the group moved off out of view to one side of the side of the sky while the remaining three moved off in the opposite direction; I’m afraid it’s been too long to confidently state which compass directions those would have been. Their departing motion seemed to be just as unhurried as their “maneuvering” had been.

Just in case anyone’s wondering, some of the guests had been drinking alcohol (it was a Texas barbecue, after all), but I myself was a confirmed teetotaler at the time. I can categorically state that these objects, whatever they might have been, were neither weather balloons, secret military test aircraft, Venus, Jupiter, swamp gas or any of the other claims with which such sightings are typically written off. Their manner of sudden motion, sudden stopping and subsequent motionlessness were inconsistent with any known system of craft propulsion, and I find that it stretches credibility to the breaking point to suggest that such methods of propulsion might have been developed in secret without any hint of such a technological advance leaking out at some point. We did not report the sighting to any authorities – what would be the point? Nor did we ever hear of any subsequent corroboration by any other witnesses, or at least none that my wife or I knew of.

Full Description & Details

I have read most UFO reports and encounters but none compare to the experience my wife and I had in the Santa Clarita Valley.

This happened in 1978 but it is something you cannot easily forget and led to me reading and researching all I can find on the subject.

We are not at shy about speaking about it. We were lucky to see what we saw and openly speak about it.

I only wish that we could go through a hypnosis to repeat the experience. Perhaps you can help us on this.

It was a warm summer Friday night and I was standing on the upper deck of the swimming pool, brushing the sides with a long pole and brush attached to it. The pool lights were on. Our kids, were planning to swim the next morning and I wanted the pool clean. My wife and kids were watching television approximately 40 feet from were I stood. It was around 9:30 PM.

As I moved my hands upwards to grab the upper end of the pole something caught my vision. It was a craft approaching at a low altitude perhaps a block away. It had lights on the front portion that clearly did not look like a helicopter. We were used to seeing Sheriff helicopters patrolling over our neighborhood, often flying low or hovering over our pool area to get glances of my wife and her friends laying out. We often waved them off using one finger.

I kept looking at the approaching craft and then realized it was not a helicopter but something very different. I ran to our back door and yelled at my wife and kids to come and see what I was seeing. Only my wife got out and by that time the craft was right above our pool area stationed there. It seemed as if it floated and had a slight wobble as if it were caught in a slight wind.

The craft was no higher than 60 feet above us. It was metallic shiny solid and shaped as those you see in movies. It had a upper dome with windows around it. The body was one solid piece, no obvious connectors. It had ski like device in the upper front but not centered, so it may have been some form of docking device because it was too far forward. I later tried to draw the angles and design of the ski like device and was unsuccessful. I remember that it was a very strange angle and design.

The craft had a window jut bellow the front leading edge of the saucer shape. That window was at least 4 X 8 feet long. We could see bluish/orange glow inside but no occupants. The center of the craft was concave and two rectangular shaped objects were inside the concave area. The height of the craft was the equivalent of a 1 1/2 story house and with a total diameter of approximately 75-80 feet.

The craft tilted forward and downwards and we could see the upper section and could tell the light on top was not reflecting from out swimming pool lights but that it came from crafts skin since there were no other visible lights other than those in the very front or leading edge of saucer shape. I think this is why people report seeing glowing crafts.

My wife, Gloria, kept repeating "oh my god" over and over. I was fixated on details and design. I have to admit that I was somewhat scared but almost frozen staring at something that was not supposed to be there. Like seeing a Greyhound Bus floating over your pool.

The craft was over our house for approximately 30-45 seconds. Afterwards it resumed moving Southeast at about 30-40 MPH and at the same altitude. It never made a sound. I jumped on a 6 foot wall to continue seeing for approximately 3-4 miles.

I told my wife not to speak to go inside draw what she could and then compare notes.

My background includes a Certificate in Group Propulsion Systems. I attended Northrop Institute of Technology planning to be an Aeronautical Engineer but then switched to business. I served as an executive in several Fortune 500 computer companies and was cofounder of two companies. One of my companies had substantial clients in Europe including Kuwait Petroleum International retail operations, Bell South, and software joint ventures in India. I consider myself a serious person who takes this subject very seriously.

I am fully convinced that world governments, including ours, knows very well of the presence of extra-terrestrial visitors to our planet but are afraid to share this with the public.

Full Description & Details

It was late in the afternoon on the day of the first landing of the space shuttle Columbia. I was a stringer for NBC news and shot the landing from the dry lake bed.

I left Edwards Air Force Base and headed back to the San Joaquin Valley on Highway 99.

Late in the afternoon, I saw something that looked to be a dark spot on the sun.

I pulled over and got out my binoculars. The sun was too bright, so I waited till the sun started to set. Soon, the dust from the earth allowed my binoculars to see what cannot be anything but UFO’s.

First there was the large round ship that I could see with my naked eye and gave me the reason to pull over, (thinking it was a sunspot). When I looked below the large ship, I saw six smaller ships lined up three in a row, like on a dice, all at 45 degree angles. Next to these “dots” was a long dark bar (like a pencil) that was twice the length of the large sun spot ship. All these items were stationary is space between earth and the sun. I did an experiment to see if I was just seeing things. I positioned myself in front of distant telephone poles and placed the UFO’s directly behind them. I watched as the group slowly dropped at the same rate as the sun. They started above the telephone wires and as the sun set they ended up below the telephone wires till they all sunk into the horizon.

These things had to be huge since they were not even close to being on earth and dropped into the horizon at the same rate of the sun.

I am amazed to this day, that no one has reported this and if they have, I would sure like to know about it.

Thank you,

Full Description & Details

I had a 19 foot boat at that time and my step dad and i where stripper fishing at night during the stripper season. It was extremely freezing cold that night when we noticed off in the distance a storm was coming up fast. we where about 9 miles off shore 3:00am. Lightning was on the horizon flashes where filling the eastern part of the sky. We started to reel in the rigs and we secured them.

I started the boat to try to outrun the rain which was comming in very fast. While in transit back to the shorelines it started to rain very hard, allmost to the point to where we could not see to drive. The rain was hitting us so hard in the face and back that it hurt. I had the throttle down as hard as i could, I had to rely on my skills as a seasoned fisherman to rely only on my compass as the rain was so heavy we could no longer see ahead. Then.......

In a litteral blink of an eye the rain stopped. It stopped so fast i throttled the boat to an abrupt and sudden stop almost throwing my passenger out because what had just beenthe 20 minute rain from hell disoriented me somewhat. we shook off the devestation and looked around the boat cursing. I looked out the boat trying to get visual bearings of shoreline and heard water running or flowing all aroung us.

We could still see it raining all around us but not on us which promted us to look skyward for explainations, When we looked up ;;;;;;;;; OH my God

something was 100 feet over our heads. Rain was falling off the sides. It was triangular shaped with no lights, no sound , nothing. It just stayed there over our heads not moving nor even vibrating. I yelled to my step father what the hell is that thing while i frantically started the boat motoragain. He screamed hurry-up we have to get the hell out of here right now before that thing sees us... I had stated it allready has or it wouldnt be overhead so close. With that said on that very second I floored my boat knocking him off his feet and backwards where he broke the rear seat slamm out the floor braces when he hit them.

It took us over 5 minutes going 40 miles an hour to get out from underneath this thing We dont know if it was following us or what but we did know that we where most likely going to die, we where that terrified. The second we did get out from underneath it all the blinding torrential rain had started again. We looked back from an area we thought it was safe and could see it moving towards the eastern shore side of the bay bridge tunnel.

I went to a web site today that had a triangular shaped UFO sighted and photographed over belgium, and i immediately said upon the picture loading thats it. That picture is the very same aircraft that we saw that night.

Full Description & Details

I moved back to Clarksville Iowa in the summer of 1994 where I ended up staying with a friend. My friend's sister, (name withheld), early one morning ran up to the east window from the living room and yelled, "What the f*** is that?" And she ran outside. I went to the window and saw what I thought was a police car, a very odd thing to see in a town of less than two-thousand people at 3am. I followed her outside and we watched.

It was immediately apparent that the object was in the air and was moving closer. It flashed red and white, and at times was hard to look at. At this point my thought was that instead of a police car it must be a helicopter or airplane flying very, very low directly toward us. Once past the trees we could see it clearly.

The object was red light on top, blue light on the bottom, white wispy flashes of light around the outside circumference in a ring parallel to the ground. The white flashes of light were evenly distributed equatorially, and seemed to rotate in a random way. The rotation of the white lights was similar to how a wheel looks when captured on film in a movie. All of the light seemed to be a causation of the distortion around it, and the mechanical part was only faintly visible. The best way that I can describe the "field" around the craft would be like looking into a spinning ball of glass. The object made no sound at all, and hovered along as you would expect a helicopter to fly. The field around the object seemed to be spinning, as for the parts inside, I really can’t say for sure. It was hard to tell the size from the ground. I estimate its size was 7.5 meters (25 feet) internally, and the field around it possibly 12 or more meters(40 feet.) I guess its speed was near 50-60 KPH (30-40 MPH). The altitude must have been close to 100 meters (100 yards), and closest point directly to it through the air near 150 meters (150 yards). The air was clear and it took about 5 minutes for the object to disappear behind the trees of Herry Woods State Park. Its path from when we first saw it was in a smooth arch from the east to the south.

http://homepage.ntlworld.com/ufophysics/microprop.htm

I believe the date was the 16th of January 1995, and it was approximately 3 AM. Overall my impression was that it was something of great power and control. Logic tells me that anything that has the power to warp light around it is dangerously powerful. This feeling could have been my adrenal gland; an emotional response to the "magic."

I would like to find time to create an animation digitally that is a near to what we saw as possible. We didn’t have a camera with us that night.

Full Description & Details

My brother, fiancee and myself had only been in New Mexico for a couple of hours. We decided to camp out (sleep in car) at one of our usual stomping grounds outside of Carlsbad, headed towards Dark Canyon. It is just an old gravel pit where we do a lot of target shooting and so on.

We sat in the car for a while, trying to get comfortable after a 12 hour drive. We had not been there for very long when the first craft came into view.

It was a pretty large object, and at first glance resembled a helicopter with very bright white spotlights pointing in all directions. It hovered slowly in one area for several minutes. We thought whoever was manning it had surely seen us, and they probably did. It moved slowly towards our position, moving only a few hundred feet in a matter of minutes.

At its closest point, I estimate that it was no farther from us than 200 yards, maximum. We had a pretty good view of it, the only obstruction of sight being the lights on the craft itself. We had the windows down, listening for any sound from the craft. It was silent. It was obviously not any kind of helicopter or conventional airplane.

After a few more minutes of slow movement in front of us, it finally picked up some speed and began flying to the right side of our field of view, over a small hill, and then disappeared. We looked for the lights but found nothing. We assumed that it must have seen us and decided to leave the area with the lights off. It was no more than 150 feet above the ground the entire time it was in view.

We were thrilled to have seen it so well and of course happy to be unharmed, as close as it had come. We talked about it for a few minutes with no more activity until we noticed a group of three small red lights in the distance, at least a mile away and possibly several miles. The lights moved together. It looked as though they were lights on a single craft. After a few minutes of 'normal' movement, the lights began to pull away from each other. I estimate that they had moved at least a half mile or more from each other. Each light began doing different things.

Around this time I remembered that I had brought binoculars and a camera. The camera is an inexpensive HP 318 with a viewing screen to check the pictures after you take them. Unfortunately, these small lights did not show up at all, and sadly we had not thought to try to photograph the first craft which surely was close and bright enough to have provided hard results if photographed.

The red lights would move in the shape of circles, do zig zags through the sky, stop completely, and then do more random movements. All of this was done at incredible speed, certainly not like anything the government has made public. I cannot describe the speed, other than to say what they were doing was astonishing.

After flying around like this, they would meet up again and reform their original shape and move together, only to separate and move individually again in these strange manoeuvres, then join again. This event repeated itself numerous times.

When the objects rejoined, they would move so fast towards each other that you would expect them to collide, but they would come to a dead stop every time, like thay had just hit an invisible wall.

The lights finally moved farther away until we could not see them anymore.

This entire event lasted near an hour.

Of course we stayed awake for a while more expecting (hoping) to witness more. No luck- that was all for the night.

Since that time, I have found one photo online from someone in New Mexico who managed to photograph the red lights. Different place, different time- similar description of events, although the person says that he saw 4 of the red lights, and we only saw 3.

I have spent a lot of time in New Mexico including years of living there. I have seen a lot of similar objects, but these were by far the most impressive and obvious, and the only ones that styed in sight for more than a few seconds or a couple of minutes.
