The image shows an area close to the northern rim of the Argyre basin, located at latitude 36° South and longitude 324° East (35° 40' S 17° 36' W). The image was taken with a ground resolution of about 40 meters per pixel during Mars Express orbit 533 in June 2004, by the High Resolution Stereo Camera (HRSC) on board ESAs Mars Express spacecraft,
The rest, including the 3D images are misleading and are only a distorted version of the original.

The second image in the video clip is the result of applying appropriate filters, as all the information is there though well concealed.
Notice the incidence angle is 60.84 °, for which we have a lateral view of the crater rather than a true vertical aerial projection.
