I saw what looked like a street light in the sky about 5 45 am on the morning of May 9, 2010 south of the Winnipeg International Airport. It was white and like I said it just looked like a street light. All of a sudden it bolted arcoss the sky and towards the ground and out of sight into the tree line. It was daylight to sun had just come up. It was weird. Much larger than a shooting star. But it could have been a meteor, but there was no trail. It was there one second and then it bolted and was gone in an split second.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?
It could have been a meteor

I have a college education, I was driving a taxi at the time, I had just dropped some passengers at the Winnipeg airport.
