Fairly sunny day, I saw a VERY bright light (almost a magnesium quality to it) hovering above the sea in Cardigan Bay in Aberystwyth, Wales UK. 3 other friends who were with me saw it too. It hovered, then shot off acorss the horizon at tremendous speed. It then stopped abruptly, then lifted vertically upwards, then downwards, all at great speeds and suddenly halting. Then disappearing, only to reappear. I have a photo we took ,although not very clear.

I have since found out (about 26 years later!) about the DVD made about the UFO crash near Aberystwyth around the time we saw ours. Google: UFO crash Aberystwyth. Amazing stuff! UK's Roswell. The crashed craft's metal has been distributed aomngst 100 carefully selected people.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?
NO conventional explanation. I have never seen anything like it. Amazing!

Views on UFOs, before and after sighting
Before seeing the UFO I sort of believed in them. I had read the Von Daniken books and they make sense to me, but had not read much else. After seeing UFO I am a true believer, but found it off putting the disbelief I met from other people so learned to keep quiet about it.

Other Comments
It was only recently when I got a 'government' job where the public rang in, I reaslied there are a lot of occurences of 'UFO's' which has rekindled my interest. I have a theory these UFO's are here to mine our water.....extract Deuterium in order to gain 'energy'. I'm not a scientitst though, these are my amateurish thoughts. I may send my photo later if you are interested.
