Appearance / Description of Object(s)
It was sort-of oblong/round. It was a very bright light/glow. I thought I saw a red strobe, but my wife didn't see that.
Description of Area / Surroundings
We were in a very urban area walking our dogs in the neighborhood. The area where we saw the object was pretty rural. Maybe West Roseville, CA area.

My wife and I were walking the dogs around 7:30pm. We were heading in Southwesterly direction. Then, we both noticed a pretty good size object moving from left to right and maybe down to the ground at about a 30-40 degree angle. It wasn't very fast, but disappeared quickly. I thought I saw a red strobe light, but my wife didn't see that part. We both discussed what it could have been. I thought it may be an aircraft falling out of the sky. When we got home, I immediately got online and checked local news sources, but there was nothing reported.

Neither. We discussed it and could not determine.

Not sure what to think. Air Force Pilot and Air Traffic Controller and it was nothing like I've ever seen.
