Summary:  I was driving to class this summer when I noticed a a grayish disk hovering in the distance. It was moving quite slow, to my surprise, and disappeared in the clouds. I cannot describe it further because I had to focus on the road.

Size of Object(s): Relative size= 0.5 in. x 0.5 in. Actual size= bigger than a 747 aircraft


Appearance / Description of Object(s)
The disk was solid gray from my point of view. It was moving slow in an orbiting fashion, as if it were scanning the area 360 degrees.

Description of Area / Surroundings
Rural area, in the canyons

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?
The special way this thing moved distinguished it from anything I've ever seen. Planes do not move in the orbiting fashion.

 I do believe in their existence, before and after I saw one of my own. I have seen recorded clips of UFOs on a few websites before.
