Appearance / Description of Object(s)
I could only see the bottom of it, and it had lots of bright lights, coloured red, blue and green and regular white lights. The lights seemed to vary in size and the ones lining the outside rim of the UFO were particularly large.
Description of Area / Surroundings
Urban area, suburban area. I know there is a meat factory nearby somewhere...?? As I mentioned there was a school very nearby, and a large shopping center. Also a gathering of quite a few shops as it was a popular suburban area.

I saw the UFO as I was being driven to an open day at my to-be high school.
Me and my family were driving by in our car and about 20m away across the road, I saw a huge disc hovering in the air. It was about 20m above the ground, a playing field near a school to be exact, and it seemed to be just sitting in the air. It didn't seem to be making any sounds, and it also seemed odd that no one else had noticed it. I could see it very clearly as it was only about 20m away. Very large, metallic looking disc.

no, it couldn't be man-made, it was too large. I couldn't see anything suspending it so it couldn't have been for a movie or anything.

didn't really believe in them but was interested in the idea anyway. Had a fairly good knowledge of famous UFO sightings etc.
