Summary:
At about 9:30 pm, while watching for satellites pass over in the night sky, my 8 year old daughter yelled out that she saw something in the sky. The object was traveling north northwest. It was low enough to see and observe that it was round in shape, very dark brown with black spots on it.

At about 9:30 pm, while watching for satellites pass over in the night sky, my 8 year old daughter yelled out that she saw something in the sky. The object was traveling north northwest. It was low enough to see and observe that it was round in shape, very dark brown with black spots on it. The object was not very high in the sky, traveling at a very high rate of speed. Absolutely no sound. We probably watched it from beginning to end, less than 10 seconds.

be explained as any conventional man-made or natural
object?
We had just seen two satellites before, traveling west to east within a few minutes of observing this object. It was man made, traveling at a very high rate of speed, with NO SOUND.
