just at the lake front icouldent say if it took off or went underwater

i thought it was someone flying a kite but it was to big to windy ,

it was just over the water line over the lake for about 5 min's than it was gone

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?
i was looking down at it from a high rise bulding
