As I always do, I was going to visit some relatives in Quevedo, a city located in the coastal part of this country. It was a day in summer and I was driving quiet fast my sports car at night. I was about 20 minutes to get to the city when I suddenly saw an object flying very low, from east to west. It was heading the Pacific Ocean. It was like an egg of about 3 meters of diameter. It had no lights but, I could see it very clearly because it was a clear cloudless night. I know airplanes, weather balloons, and birds, but this thing was metallic and different. It passed by, emitted no sound at about 200 meters from the ground and 50 meters from me, so I could clearly see it. It was like an alluminium egg flying with a full moon as background. This lasted a few seconds, but the starnge thing is that during this lapsus-I donīt remember seeing other cars, everything was so silent, trees branches stopped swaying. But after this object disappeared, everything came back to normal, I listened to the music again, the car roaring on the road (by the way, I got afraid because it was stupid to take my eyes off the road like I did!) Before this happening, I was sceptic about ufos, but now I believe because I saw one.
