Appearance / Description of Object(s)
Long and narrow-tapering from front to back-also dropping down from front to back in what looked like three distinct segments.Each segment got a little wider, taller and dropped more than the last.
Color was a dark flat gray (charcol gray)-Object was smooth with no props,blades,engines,vents,intakes,struts,fins,wings, etc.No visible windows,portholes or doors-hatches.
Description of Area / Surroundings
High desert valley with low mountains to the east.It's called the Eldorado Valley.Power station is located to the northwest of my position about ten miles.

Before I get into the details of my sighting i want it do be known that I wasn't drinking or under the influence of a controlled substance.
I also consider myself above average in identifying known aircraft,having been around them all of my life and being a military aircraft buff.
Driving north on US 95 heading back to Las Vegas Nevada doing about 65mph when I noticed a very out of place object to the north and east of my position ( ahead and to my
right ) and moving in the opposite direction (south).
Saw object approach and was able to get a very good side view as we passed each other.Was also slowing my vehicle down as the object passed.I came to a full stop and exited the car to get a another look,but it was gone.
Can sighting
be explained as any conventional man-made or natural
object?
NO.Unless it's some test project but I don't think they would be flying it around in the daytime along US 95.

I'm a Surveyor with some education past high shool.I've been in this line of work for about 27 years.
Views on UFOs, before and after sighting
I think there somthing going on and wish I could get a real answer .I've had some sightings before that got me interested but they were at night.This is my first daytime sighting.
Other Comments
It felt like I saw somthing that didn't belong.The object didn't appear to be air worthy.Like it shouldn't be able to fly.If anything it appeared to be more watercraft than aircraft.
