Size of Object(s): 1/4 inch in size about 1 mile away; appeared to be a 20-30 ft. circle.
Distance to Object(s): About 1 mile to 1 mile and a half, at about 3,000 ft.

Appearance / Description of Object(s)
Bright circular light, stationary for few minutes, separating into 3 - one large, 2 smaller ones, then going back to one ball of light. After taking photos (flash), it shot up into the sky at about 70 degrees angle.

Description of Area / Surroundings
Top of mountain ridge, on or above radio station antenna or some sort of electrical tower. Hovering there it seemed to be taking on energy.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?
I do not believe it to be any type of star, plane, or satellite
