Coming home from night school class, i arrived home and looked to the north ,and saw a very bright light , which was flashing red, white , green and blue. Obviously as a pilot I knew it could not be a conventional aircraft ,as no aircraft is allowed to show blue lights, or red white and green all at the same time. So I looked at it with my 15X 50 binocculars, but all I could make out was the lights. I was about 50 miles away in a straaight line. An C130 aeroplane of the USAF - Mildenhall , passed by between it and me and it's lights were puny by comparrison. I watched it till after 12 30am ,and gave up and went to bed.
later the object was reported in the UFO magazine and was said to have been observed by a police car crew from Skegness, who videoed it , and said it looked like a giant brown boomerang, stationary over the coast of the Wash and had also been seen by a Noth Sea Gas supply ship which ahd taken sightings on it. It was also seen on several military and civil radars (one at Kinloss was about 450 miles away) and reported by an airliner flying above it. The object sat stationary in the same place for many hours, until the next day when it just dissapeared and was not there any more

I was in the Royal airforce for 15 years and in aviation for 28 years and was a pilot for 24 years including commercial helicopters for 10 years. i know this was not a normal earthly object
Views on UFOs, before and after sighting
I believe they exist, But I also think some if not all of them come from possibly different dimentions to our own and occasionallycross to ours, I felt this one may have been a airliner of a different dimention that had just arrived back from smewhere, for refuel or service and departed again .
Other Comments
In another dimension that area might have been the crafts home base,and to them it may have been sitting parked on the ground in their dimention which would explain why it could just sit there and not fall down on us.
