It came from behind my house and disseapeared behind the horizon of the house across the street. I could hear a faint humm as it went by, growing for a second or two in volume and pitch until it went by (which it only took a split second). It was heading due south. I could not tell at what altitude it was travelling but if it was only 2 meters from my roof then it would have been the size of a basketball. It glowed a bright green, but did not light up any sky around it. the light was almost contained in itself. At first i thought roman candle??? But that doesn't make any sense. Nobody else saw it because they were watching the t.v. They thought i was losing it.
Can sighting
be explained as any conventional man-made or natural
object?
the only explanation is that someone was in the backalley and fired off some sort of firework that doesn't explode and glows bright green and humms instead of whistles right over my house, the street and the house across the street and who knows how much further?
