Full Description & Details Bright light moving North to South 45 degrees above the horizon about the size and brightness of the planet Venus. The object was moving rapidly

across the sky---it then stopped and a smaller luminous object was ejected from the primary object. The small object made three circular orbits around the primary object then shot away from the primary object at extremely high speed

to the West where it disappeared below the horizon. The primary object then appeared to shrink in size, as if it were moving directly away from the observers into space. It disappeared from sight.

 Other Comments
I have been an amateur astronomer since I was small boy, having purchased my

first telescope at age 10. This was not the planet Venus, a meteor, or an aircraft.

This was something that I had never seen before at the time and have not seen

since. It would be interesting to know if there were other sightings in the Dallas

 area at the time.
