Summary:
bright light spotted coming over tree top, no sound, no blinking lights just on large bright light, traveled slowly over head, seemed to be slowing, continued north to tree line, once light got to tree line, light hovered same in the same spot for few seconds, then continued north until it was out of sight

Benning Ga. Army Base Full Description & DetailsWednesday 27, 2012 aproximately 9:30 at night, I was outside when I saw a bright light appear in the tree line to the south. We have alot of aircraft in the skies because of Atlanta Airport being so close but this was no aircraft. The extremely bright single light slowly flew overhead and it seemed to be slowing even more. Once it got to the tree line, it hovered in one spot for a few seconds, then continued north out of my sight.
