Appearance / Description of Object(s)

The object was a flat triangle with 4 lights around the perimeter of the craft one of which was blinking and there was no noise coming from the object.

Size of Object(s)

I would estimate size of the actual object to be aprox a triangle measuring 50 feet at the "rear" of the triangle.

Distance to Object(s) & Altitude

The object was 300 ft directly above me.

Description of Area / Surroundings

Just as your getting towards the center of town right over the two hotels in town. There are no special sites other than a small airplane airport 6 miles outside of town. to the East.

Full Description & Details

When heading West on highway 4 coming into the center of town. My girlfriend and I saw an aircraft with bright light hovering in the distance. At first I thought it was just a helicopter, but as we got closer and got directly underneath of it. I was able to see that it was not a helicopter, and was some thing like I have never seen before. It was a Flat Triangle with four lights one of which was blinking. I rolled down my window to get a clear look at the craft, and heard no engine noise. When I directed my girlfriend to turn the vehicle around to get a second look within a 4 sec amount of time that I had no visibility of the sky due to trees from turning on to a residential street; the craft was no where to be found. With wide open sky and clear conditions the craft had disappeared.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

As a former marine the only craft that could move as this one did is a helicopter, but this was no helicopter after getting close to the object.
