Appearance / Description of Object(s)

Tube. Bright. No trails. It is exactly like the tube shape from the pictures taken at Illinois and Indiana in this website.

Description of Area / Surroundings

Urban, although, it is a small city which formed around the university. I saw this at Purdue University.

At such an high altitude, only aircraft can fly. But, it was not an aircraft. There was no blinking red lights and it was long and bright. No aircraft would be so bright during 4-5 pm.

A meteor usually leaves a trail, and falls, but this unidentified object was cruising - moving at a constant rate horizontally.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

No, that's why I'm writing it here. If you lived for 37 years, you pretty much know natural objects or man-made objects.

Views on UFOs, before and after sighting

Have little knowledge, but thought most of the pictures are fabricated. I still do, but interestingly, the one I saw is exactly the same as the pictures taken previously at Illinois and Indiana. It also matches the description I read several years ago of a pilot identifying a bright tube passing by near United Kingdom. Since I've seen it, I don't think these were fabricated. I'm not sure whether aliens are on it or it is some prototype of a new aircraft, but it was bright and seemed to be out of this world.
