Full Description & Details

I was driving up Skyline Drive when I noticed lights at the top of the hill, approx 11pm on a Sunday evening. Because of the lights I assumed there was an accident and quickly said a prayer. When I arrived at the top of Skyline Drive I thought it was a helicopter because it was hovering right in the center of the tree line. I pulled up near the the Smokey the Bear sign and stopped the car to see a triangular shaped object above my car which was not a helicopter or anything I had ever seen. I turned off my car and to my amazement the object continued to silently hover above me. It slowly moved above our heads maybe 3 to 4 miles an hour and at this point I fled in fear, back to my car and left. I saw in my rear view mirror the image of the object continuing to float down Skyline Drive the bottom looked serrated like the belly of a snake.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?
