Rural long village area. RAF Henlow about two miles away. Railway line between the two. Always thought this black triangular UFO used the rail line as guide and maybe landed in grass area where we saw it hovering.

My wife and I were walking home on a Sunday night in our village in 1980. It was about 1am

in the morning when down the high street there was a wooded and field area to our left. I

caught sight of this solid black triangular object behind the tree area hovering about 500

yards away and just above the trees. At each corner of this black triangular object there was dimmed round light red lighting that was very similar in colour & size to large electric hob rings. I then turn and asked my wife if she could see it aswell, she said yes we both

froze and watched. Now nobody else was around, all houses were dark. This object made no noise, if this was a Harrier jump jet then half the village would have heard it. This object was solid as it hovered I was looking at it and saw no tail fin.We both kept very still and watched for about five minutes and then within a blink with no sound this UFO had gone. We both never told a sole about it because nobody reported it. We waited a long time to see anything like it untill on the news we saw what happened in Belgium with the F-16 in 1989 I think. I said thats the same shape as we both saw in 1980. Now that was thirty two years ago and to this day nothing I have seen and heard flying today can compare to this. Many years ago I contacted Mr Pope former govement UFO agent for some sort of answer to what we saw, he believes these are the closes sightings to UFOs. Well these could be American , United Kingdom or other countries spy planes. Still waiting for an answer.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

Someone made it very advanced,black triangular no noise in hover,moves of in a blink.
