UFO Sighting Report

Summary:
Two very bright circular orange (flame-coloured) objects seen rising from the west and flying steadily and silently in a straight line to the east, separately and about a minute apart. About same speed as or faster than a jetliner and too bright to be a satellite, too high to be a chinese lantern. Warm summer evening with good visibility and some high cloud cover, and spotted by six of us, not too inebriated! Almost overhead but slightly to the north.

Appearance / Description of Object(s)Description as above. Objects were absolutely identical. Extremely bright but orange & circular shape. Silence of transit rules out planes, helicopters etc. At first on spotting I thought the first object was a rocket / firework, but the duration, silence and trajectory ruled this out. The second identical object soon after made it seem uncanny. Size of Object(s)About the size of a very large meteor. Too high to give estimate of actual size. No trail visible.
