round but with lights. Red lights but too far away to see other colors. At first I thought it was a star but it moved erratically.

It started out pretty high, then dipped low enough above the mountains to get a decent look.

We are mountain rural.

Showed my husband and son-in-law. did not take any pics but someone else out there saw it too. What was it? Why didn't the news pick up anything on it? I know I wasn't the only one to see this. It was kind of like a satellite out of control! There was a plane nearby so maybe they saw it too?

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

I don't know.

I always believed in them. I think it might be something else but no one is reporting on it.
